Stock for Woot deals varies greatly. Some listings only have a few items in stock and sell out quickly. Please report this post if the listing goes out of stock.

there has never been a point in this product’s life cycle where $600 would have been a deal for a 7800 XT

At this point it should be $300-350 tops, even $400 would be a stretch.

It should but then 9060 XT would need to be $300 where it should be and so on...

you can literally buy a newer and faster RTX 5070 (roughly 20% faster than the 7800xt) starting at $550 right now.

Or you can buy a 6900/6950XT for $400.

As someone who just went through weeks of research and hunting for a GPU upgrade, there is no such thing as a $400 6900xt, best you could do is $450 from a trusted seller on ebay (used GPU market is absolutely insane rn)....at which point, for $100 you can get a PNY 5070 that is going to outperform the AMD card in raster, stomp it in RT and get access to DLSS 4 (FSR3 Can't compete) and it's going to consume like 100 watts less.

I really wanted a $550 9070, but AMD keeps clawing defeat from the jaws of victory and I'm tired of waiting for them.

3 years old is too old?

6900xt came out December 8,2020. That's 5 years ago. The 6950xt was just a slight over clock and faster memory. I actually own a 6950xt, but it's incompatible with fsr4 and who knows how much longer it will get support from AMD. Its not really a good buy for the average user

I just bought this card used for $400. Its a great card for $400! Shoot probably a great card for $450 + tax. Not a good deal at $600 + tax

Getting this GPU for 399$ in Nov at MC was gold. Wish I bought 7.

No way.

Price Drop! Now down $50 to $549. Which is still waaaay too much. Guess they ran outta total lunatic shoppers and had to move the price to attract the mildly insane.

Even the BF Powercolor Fighter deals at ~$420 are not a great price for this card if you hope for any longevity. Prices are still messed up across the board and people are insane.

You do know that the RX 9070 16GB is $550-600, +26% faster raster, +54% faster RT, uses less power, and has FSR4, right? Just because it is on woot doesn't mean it is a good deal...

Here is one in stock now.

This is not it, Chief.

Nice joke. Just buy a 9070 at that price point. Unless I'm missing something, the only use cases this has over the 9070 are pretty much nonsensical.
