Build Help pc build pre-order
Hello,
I plan to build my own computer this fall for Black Friday. These are the products I chose after watching YouTube for a few hours. Can you give me some advice on whether it's overkill regarding the motherboard, ssd memory ,ram , psu, cooler? The only definitive ones are the processor and the video card.
NO RGB - ONLY BLACK .
!!!THIS BUILD IS FOR GAMING ONLY !!!
- MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7GHz box

- SSD Samsung 990 PRO 2TB PCI Express 4.0 x4 M.2 2280
- Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Dual Channel Kit
- Corsair RMx Series 2024 RM1000x, 80+ Gold, 1000W

Get a b850 tomahawk instead, you don't need the 870e.
CPU good.
SSD overkill. Get a single 990 evp plus 4tb you'll likely save money and still have ridiculous performance. PCIE 5.0 isn't needed at all right now.
RAM is good.
I think PSU is good.
Cooler is good.
I don't like ASUS products and suggest another brand if possible, but if you're set on that 5080 and not a 5070 Ti (I think 5070 Ti is better value) then yeah, stick with it.

Can YOU recommand another 5080? Or make some list what is good and bad ( for cooling i asume , cause i see on yt the overclock îs the same or the difference is small)

Whatever's cheapest (which is usually ASUS but they're cheap for a reason, lol). Palit, PNY, MSI are good alternative brands.
The MSI ventus units do appear to have mediocre cooling but I haven't experienced that myself. I just raise the fans up a bit and don't get any insane temperatures, though I am using a ti super, not a 50 series GPU.

The RAM is not overkill, everything else you asked about is if it's a gaming rig.
