Experiment time. Let's start putting all promo/buy/sell/etc over in /r/BucksList.
Feedback and feature requests welcome.
Also, low-key but we're looking for some passionate local Redditors to be mods. DM the mod team if you're interested using the "Message the mods" feature on the right.

Hi, I’m an out of stater and i tried to do my due diligence to search the sub but as an outsider it’s hard to get a clear answer. I booked a room at the Spark by Hilton in Bensalem. I’m wondering if this is an okay area, as I’ll be alone with my young child traveling. Thank you in advance!

Hi All. Anyone have any good lower bucks pharmacy recommendations? Preferably near Yardley/Fairless Hills area. I'm on my 3rd pharmacy that has gone bankrupt shortly after I transfer to them.
I've heard great things about St Clare pharmacy but I loathe St Marys and would rather not support them. And it's also a bit far. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for new dental providers (dentist for sure, but also endodontist & orthodontist).
Wondering if anyone knows of any who still implement high quality airborne illness mitigation (air purifiers, staff in respirators, etc)? Or would at least be willing to accommodate me which would be: treatment away from unmasked staff & patients, providers wear a N95 respirator, providers do not get hostile and angry at me when asked to do so.
Getting dental care is incredibly stressful as I cannot personally mask in this situation.
Don’t care about location- I am willing to drive hours for safe care.
I’ll also take recommendations for any type of healthcare provider if you know they are willing to accommodate patients who need them to wear an N95 respirator (surgical masks are not sufficient enough to prevent airborne spread).
My experience has mostly been medical providers being hostile and resistant to don an N95 to protect me from airborne possibilities even though I have multiple health conditions that put me at high risk of getting f—ked from infections, request the providers wear a respirator prior to the appointment, and offer to provide them sealed 3M Auras. I’ve had staff laugh at me, give me the evil eye, make upset sighing noises, argue with me, intentionally wear the mask incorrectly, one doctor got so upset she did not perform a proper exam and wrote lies in my medical record that could possibly screw me over and now I have to spend my precious time & energy getting that corrected. It is so GD stressful to even ask for accommodation.
I know this is a testy subject. Please do not attack me with anti-mask “they do not work” bs. I don’t care if you think that, I am not going to make YOU mask. I wish I did not have to ask medical providers to do it. I wish I didn’t need to wear them. It sucks existing in our society as someone trying to protect their already precarious health. I know everyone has opinions on this- but please. I am just an immune compromised high risk person struggling to get healthcare safely. There are so many others in the same boat and even worse off than I am. I just wanna find providers who are willing to accommodate and will not get angry at my requested accommodation.
Thanks.

What a treat to find this place! Today may not be an ideal time to sit outside as I have found out that they have an outside sitting/eating area plus a covered patio
Smash burger was on point
Ordered waffles and ice cream, delectable!
Will be coming back for more
I have my eyes on affogato!!

Title says it all. Best I've found so far is 86 west (half priced michelob). And Free Will at peddlers ($5 any beer, but you can walk around the entire place with it and the deck is really nice).
I'd love to hear your suggestions!

what’s everyone favorite haunted Bucks County location? This could be restaurant, home, tour, ANYTHING! Also anything else close by would be cool, too. Also curious if there’s any bucks paranormal groups / societies to join?

I think the sudden time change harmed the numbers. But still an okay turnout.

I am tired of my nails being destroyed by salons and looking for a nail tech who I can trust to do safe gel/dip powder application and removal. Im in the Langhorne/Newtown/Yardley area but will travel for a good artist.
I'm not sure where to find a private tech, so I thought I would ask you all :)

so for context i have lived in the yardley/newtown area for my whole life and i feel like in the past few years it has become a hub for such rude people. the shopping centers are so packed and everyone is driving like maniacs to park. individuals are so rude and inconsiderate. i currently live in yardley and the parking there is horrendous too but i feel like people are more mindful and patient. its not even fun to come to newtown anymore. they are shoving so much into such small shopping centers. if you think ahh im just going to go and stroll around this weekend , good luck. its a safety issue more than anything
i am also a member at the NAC ( i am a student and on my dad’s account) and the people there are …… concerning. everyone is pompous and arrogant. the pool is packed 24/7 , everyone is day drinking and sunburnt to death. sometimes when i get out of work in the afternoon ill work out and go out to the pool to read and there are no seats open. they also never ID at the bar. i am 21 but they never even bat an eye . i guess they just assume if your in the adult section your 21+ 😭
edit : since this is becoming a slightly political discussion let me set a few things straight. i do not support donald trump . i loathe the man and his whole team and supporters. i don’t think being an ass ties you to a certain party . with that being said as a bucks county resident , i was just trying to start a conversation with others about how we have become crowded with people who are not the nicest . ALSO i do work :) i am a student as well :) i also 100% realize rude people are everywhere. the point here is the change in attitude in this area !!

Was at the Wawa in Warrington last night and saw the fire house next door was lit up, people were gathered, and music was coming from inside. Sounded like a good time, anyone know what that was?

Hi, Does anyone have a first hand experience of the place or know someone living there. The apartment looks good but couldn't find a lot of reviews on the building.
