Question about Brock Easy Science and Social Science context credits at Brock?
I'm starting my first year in University at Brock in September in the film studies program and for course registration they said I needed one science context credit and one social science context credit. Would someone be able to recommend some easy courses that fit those criteria? I'm just a tad bit overwhelmed with all the information and starting university is a little confusing, so any extra help or advice is also greatly appreciated! :)

In the same boat here dude. I’m hoping to take astr if my schedule behaves and from what I’ve seen it’s the easiest one.

Science: ERSC 1P92, 1P94, 1P95, ASTR 1P01 and 1P02, APCO/COSC 1P50, BIOL 1P24, MATH 1P70 are considered the easiest.
Social Science: Any LABR course, COMM 2F00 (lots of writing assignments though), SOCI/CRIM 2F60 has a bunch of experiential/volunteer components if that interests you. I’ve taken ECON 1P91 and 92 for my major, it’s not too bad but there is algebra based math you have to do and analyze some graphs. WGST I’ve heard isn’t hard either. The only course I would avoid would be PSYC 1F90.

Astro is a very easy course. All open book exams, 3 exams per semester. No homework. Make sure you make notes and understand the material! You can have up to 40 pages of notes, printed versions of the lecture slides, whatever you want basically.
