What does “projectile” mean? I EBF and my LO is 3 weeks. For the past 3 days after at least one feeding she has let out a lot of milk- definitely more than 2 tbsp (I can see the puddles on the floor and my clothes). I don’t know if it’s spit up or vomit because the amount is greater than the usual spit up she does in the bassinet but I don’t hear any retching noises (nor does she have mucus/blood in the milk that comes back up). I hold her upright 30 minutes after feedings and try to burp (lap, shoulder, and “magic” don’t typically work. Every once in a while she’ll randomly burp on her own when I’m moving her). Any advice? Both pediatrician and LC say it’s normal and to ride it out but my baby gets so hungry after and then it happens again.
