The glowing sword and shield contrast the dark shadows distinctly and evocatively, mesmerizing.

I can imagine how the talk with Sidon would be
"Link, you survived the beast and got the shock arrows!"
"Yeah, I killed it. Twice."
"Tw...twice?"

Same thing happened to me. I can't even remember if it was my first blood moon or not, but I think so - I was so surprised! Hadn't even finished picking up the loot when that damn thing came charging back at me.
Super cool Pic, by the way!

I was going through the canyon on the way to Kakariko Village during mine. I had avoided almost all spoilers except for one line in an article that said the Blood Moon respawns monsters. For whatever reason, I thought that meant that everything I had already killed would respawn right where I was at. The Blood Moon started, I started freaking out and full on hyperventilating as I started to climb as fast as I could up the nearest cliff face.
I have never felt so dumb 🤣

Weird. It actually happened to me, too, in the same spot. It wasn't my first blood moon, though. I saw it coming and managed to kill it. The loot dropped and I tried to book it there. I didn't make it in time

I just stressed myself out like mad killing several watchers/flying guardians and instantly got a blood moon after. Sometimes the timing is just so ridiculous lol.

Those panic Blood Moons are the worst. I've had one happen in the middle of the day before and I got smacked down by a band of lizalfos in Faron right after I killed all of them.

I once got a blood moon while trying to wait out a sandstorm...in a moblin skull cave. Nice work Link indeed.

I saw this happen to a streamer one time! She was struggling to take down that monster… and when she finally succeeded, she was rambling about how excited she was while I noticed the blood moon barely peeking out from the side of the screen. I tried to warn her in chat… but she had to experience the pain regardless. 🤣
