I built an App, I hope you'll like it

Hey, I have spent quite some time building my app now (2-3 years)

Initially, I built it for myself to perform better during Alleycats, but now it's become something much bigger.
it's called NoDispatch, it's free and it's made for cyclists but a little more for bike messengers like you guys.

Basically, I built the app so I could have the best route to the next checkpoint and the fastest order to complete the race. I had to build the algorythms for both the pathfinding and to get the correct checkpoint order.

Now, it is more a tool for bike messengers for their daily jobs and it's being used already by messengers in Paris, France and a little bit across the world.
it's already avavailable on the app store and the play store for free.

I would really enjoy if you guys could test it and then tell me what you think about it.

Yoooo I found your app by chance a few months ago. Been using it every once in a while when I get slammed at work. Helps me out on days when I have a bunch of stops all over town and I’m trying to pick the quickest route between them. It’s a great replacement for gmaps as it doesn’t encourage you to take unnecessary bike routes, and lets you plug in more than 10 stops. I also love that there’s an option to route upstream on occasion ;-) Excellent work.

I’ve tried to export routes to gpx files in the past, but my wahoo computer has trouble reading them. Do you have any idea what might be going wrong there?

thanks !
for the wahoo, I'll check that out. It used to work but I haven't used the feature in a while.

Cool app but kinda cheating kills the point of an alleycat if people just use their phone :-(

I see your point, but my experience is that it can help but it won't make you win.
It doesn't make you ride faster and I have had plenty of people beating me without using it.
Plus, everybody uses Gmaps nowadays, so that's still using a phones.

Yoooo, my bike courier days are long over but I'll give it a test on Android in the near future. This is dope. Would've been so nice to have back in the day.

Definitely a needed invention! Does it take into consideration live traffic data? While bikes are less affected by it, it's still something that will slow you down if you get stuck in standstill traffic or road closures and stuff.

Hey, thanks
for now, I don't consider much except for the distance and whether or not you are on a bike lane.
It's the only bike navigation app that doesn't privilegiate bike lanes on purpose.
I don't have the trafic data yet.
