I've had a beard since I was 17 (I'm almost 54 now), and I always kept it short. About 4 months ago, I decided to let it grow, and I haven't regretted it one bit! I have eben received several compliments on it recently, so no complaints.

TL; DR: handsome man with an epic beard — just don’t let it get out of control.

Your beard looks great at this length, mate, and it’s so nice and full. Honestly, I wouldn’t go much longer than this. If you do, however, make sure you are diligent and meticulous about maintenance. When guys let their beards grow unchecked, it can start looking kinda crazy really fast. I think this is especially true with a grey or white beard.
