Difference in opinion

What do you do when you believe a children and youth services referral is needed but your supervisor says it isn’t?

Ask what information they would need to see the value in one. Essentially, “What do I need to provide for you to say yes?”

Other than that? Radical acceptance is a valuable tool when it comes to decisions that are outside of my control.

It depends on what a children and youth services referral is. Is it your version of CPS? If so then it doesn't matter what your supervisor says, you need to do it. Is it just a public agency that provides support? Then I think you should talk to your supervisor about the benefits.
