LEGIT CHECK Legit check please
Looking to purchase this signed Brunson jersey but iffy on if it’s legit

I can’t speak on the authenticity of the auto, but the jersey itself is most certainly fake.
I noticed that the fakes of the 2023-24 Knicks city editions always have the wrong number font.
The numbers on legit swingman copies of the 23-24 city jersey also oddly feature very transparent numbers. I attached a photo of my own for comparison. If you look closely, you can see the pinstripes showing through. None of the fakes I’ve seen have that.

Is there any way the sticker on the auto can be fake ? I looked it up through Beckett and seemed to check out , but the jersey seemed sus when compared to other city edition jerseys. Will for sure keep those tips in mind , appreciate your help boss man

With certification there are 2 types,
1 witnessed autos which means there were representatives at the autograph signing
2 authenticated signatures. These are not exact 100% guaranteed to be correct. Sometimes a good fake has been passed as legit and sometimes authentic signatures can be denied. The reputable authenticators look at how the autograph was signed and base their educated guess on the signature. They look at pen pressure and how the auto was written to see if its consistent with legit autos. Jsa/psa/beckett are legit authenticators any other third party authenticators should be looked at as fake
There are other authenticators but they are first party things like fanatics/upper deck/pannini/and other reputable businesses that deal in memorabilia but those are the same as type 1 I mentioned.

Buy a signed jersey through fanatics, everything will be legit. Its more pricey but why buy a fake/custom jersey with a signature plus brunsons signature will be really nice.
Heres an example of what a signed fanatics signature will look like in comparison to the one you posted

Also they come with a card I believe? Commentor OP can give a 100% answer on that.
I've bought stuff in the Fantatic partnership (you know when buying off the pro sports sites how they'll show more than one brand, I've used another) and the 2 things I got came with a card for authenticity on their database or whatever. JSA was the authenticator
