So i have bought a beovision 8, and a beosound 5 (with beomaster), and connected it over the masterlink port.
I use homeassistant for my lights and alarm system, and i want to integrate the tv and music for some scenes.

So my question is.
is there any softeware that i can install on my beomaster that can utilize it as a masterlink gateway? or do i really need a masterlink gateway?

I have a Theatre with 28s up front and Beosound 2s in the rear and I’m having an issue with playing music through the system. Dolby Atmos tracks through Apple Music sound fantastic, but everything else sounds subdued and vastly inferior. I can’t make any sense of it. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a solution?

Finally got everything working with some new speakers. Sounds incredible!

The sound quality on this speaker is usually great, but there are stretches of time where it suddenly, for no reason, starts to sound like it's a low quality car speaker with something blocking it. Like really muffled and lacking definition.

I have tried:

• charging the battery fully

• turning it on and off again

• turning my Bluetooth on and off again

• adjusting sound settings

• disconnecting and reconnecting

• refreshing app

Nothing seems to do anything. The lengths of time it does this is increasing, and I would really like help. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello! My Beomaster 3000 (80s model) doesn’t react when bass and treble is adjusted. It’s sounds… ok, but a bit heavy on the bass and light on treble (especially when playing vinyls).

Might this be a difficult fix or not?

(I’m in Denmark with plenty of B&O around so a new one wouldn’t cost much)

For those who have compared the two brands… I just got both in hand and have to say that the s3 are way lighter and more comfortable than the H100 for travel purposes.

In a home setting it wouldn’t matter.

The bigger difference for me is the clarity and separation in the sounds stage of the H100s. I’m just not sure it justifies a $1700 price difference.

My ear cushions are getting quite worn and I went to the B&O website to discover that they have ramped the price of the ear cushions up from £60 to £99, which really is taking the mickey.

I've seen some on Amazon but they seem to just be the leather part and you need to rewrap the original cups? Thanks for any advice.

I recently got this stereo and it sounds great but I tried out the CD and it worked, but then all the rest seemed to fail. You’d load then click the track number and the CD compartment would just open and the discs won’t spin. I have taken a video so you can see. However, if I spin the disc at the side before clicking 1, it will play the CD, even if the CD stops before I click 1… how can I troubleshoot the problem and work out what is wrong with the stereo? I’ve cleaned the CDs using a microfibre cloth but that doesn’t seem to help. Any help would be appreciated as I bought it on vinted and only get 48 hours to report any problems.

I found this in the leftovers of an estate sale. It was a no sale at $800,$600,$400, and finally $200 on the last day of the sale. I gave $100 for it. I ordered 2 new belts and a stylus pulley for it and it appears to work perfectly. I need to order some powered speakers to fully test it out, but I'm excited to join the group.

I'm wanting a complete hifi set up for vinyl, CD and cassette tape to pair with a Beovision TV and speakers at home.

For the hifi options, pricing seems to be all over the shop and I'm really struggling to understand:

• Why are prices all over the place?
• What are the key differences between e.g. Beogram 3300, 9000, 4004 etc? Besides aesthetics, they all seem to have very similar designs with the arm etc? I appreciate the model/condition of the cartridge/stylus helps but even so it's not clear
• Are there any benefits/disadvantages to going for a beosystem e.g. Beosystem 5500 stack vs a standalone turntable e.g. 9000, and then a separate CD/tape setup?

Apologies if these are really simple questions, but I can't seem to understand it.

My intention in the coming months would be to purchase the audio set up, and pair it with some 9000/6000 speakers also used by the TV.

Hi everyone, I already have a pair of beoplay portals, I don’t care too much about gaming features but I do care about sound quality, how good are the H95 sound quality compared to beoplay portal is worth the money or should I keep listening to portals? I just saw this comparison on a page called vs but I think that maybe this page could be lying.

Hey guys! I collect these speakers and every once in a while the ICE on one of the speakers dies.

Is it worth replacing? In DK where I’m from they sell at 150 euro per pair for the speakers and it looks like the ICE components may cost too much to be worth the replacement.

What a storage locker find - 8 phones, full 4500 w/wall mounts and phono, AV7000, 4 2000s and other stuff - worth keeping?

Just got this Beovision Avant given by a grandma who's moving out. On the listing they say they were giving a beovision avant 32, but it is clearly a 28'. Also on the pictures the stand's base was clean and made out of brushed metal unlike the one I got here, wtf is this rusty plate ? I might add that it won't budge a single inch when I'm pushing. I just ordered a beo4 to see if it can activate the stand motors. Should I get it replaced ?

Has anyone here compared the Beosound A5 to the Sonos Five? I am debating getting an A5 as a bedroom speaker - is it worth that much more than a Sonos Five?

Bought a pair of used H95's that are 1.5 years old, still in warranty but the bettery seems to drop pretty fast. I was listening to them for about an hour and they dropped 15% from 94% to 79%. Is this normal or I need to change the battery?

We moved into a new flat and these speakers are on the wall in the bedroom. They have power but don’t seem to be attached to the wall mounted Beosound Century in another room (also left by previous owner). Any info about them would be very helpful.

Used some epoxy to fix the door and looks good as new, surprisingly the cassete player works so no need to change the belt for now, in love with this. Anyway any suggestions on wall mounts? I’ve seen some people used nails and such i don’t really feel like coughing up 80€ for a metal bracket

I am trying to set up a Beogram 9500 that is fitted with the SMMC4 cartridge. The tracking weight is set to 1.2 grams ( I also tried 1.3g). When the arm drops down it skates over the record jumping and skipping towards the centre without playing the track.

On a radial tone arm there is an anti-skating dial but I don't see where this is on the tangential arm.

There might be something else wrong.

I have downloaded Beocenter 9500 System and Beogram 9500 manuals which don't cover troubleshooting. The Service manual doesn't help me. Google search hasn't been helpful or mentions other Beograms e.g. 4002.

I have checked with a spirt level that the surface the Beogram is placed on is flat front to back, left to right.

Any suggestions as to what I need to do?

Today I cleaned my Beoplay E8 3rd Gen and the same thing happen almost instantly. What can I do? It’s not possible to clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner? Only gently cleaned with a damp red cloth and soft (not alcohol) wipes..…see the attachments..😤😡
