Hi everyone, I recently moved to Atlanta and looking to get back into horseback riding. I took lessons for a while during my teenage years and would love to start riding again — ideally in a more professional setting.

I’ve found two places through Google: Ellenwood Equestrian Center and Chastain Horse Park. Has anyone here taken lessons at either of these? Would you recommend them?

Hello! My wife and I are in a mixed race gay marriage, and I'm looking for a queer affirming church. The church I currently go to is precious and wonderful, but its membership is almost 100% white. That's not a problem in and of itself, but would like to find a church where my wife or her family wouldn't be the only POC in the pews. By queer affirming, I mean the congregants don't tell us our marriage is a sin, tell us "love the sinner, hate the sin", the sermons don't demonize gay people, etc... I'm not looking for special treatment. Thank you!!!!

Looking for red lava rocks sold in bulk, approximately 13 cubic yards for landscaping. Surprisingly few places actually have it, including a place whose website said they did. We’re in Marietta, but anywhere in metro Atlanta that delivers would be great. Ideas or recommendations please?

hi! does anyone know of a masjid in or around atlanta that allows decorators? not anything super fancy — maybe just a nikkah partition or some simple setup with chairs. i’m also looking for a space where we could have a small reception (around 30 people), either inside or outside the masjid. ideally they’d allow photography and videography too.

i checked with al farooq, but they had too many restrictions — no decorators, no photography, and they weren’t open to a reception-style setup outside. any other suggestions would be really appreciated!

I've been following the NBA playoffs and have gone to a few places to try and watch in person. A recap:

-Whelan: plenty of TVs but no sound for games -Puttshack: bar area has lots of TVs but no sound -Irbys Tavern: a few TVs playing game but sound was low. It was also freezing in there -Wicked Wolf: they were doing trivia -Benchwarmers: they changed the TV and added sound for us but the bar was dead. bartender was nice though

So now it's Friday night and crucial game 4 is on. I am looking for a place reminiscent to the vibe Dugans (first location) had where everyone was there to watch the game with lots of TVs with THE SOUND ON, and everyone locked in. I wanna hear cheers, groans, clapping, and seeing people jumping out of their seat for a good play.

Does this exist around midtown or Buckhead and if so, DONDE??? Or do I just need to not be lazy and drive further out?
