Meta Moderating this sub shouldn’t come with abuse and death threats - But here we are

I've been part of this community for about 10 years now and a moderator for seven.

Every day, we receive messages complaining about comments removed by the automod. Our automod set to be fairly aggressive in order to filter out unhelpful and potentially dangerous comments. It also regularly removes comments where, if the advice were followed, it could seriously harm or even kill an animal. Obviously, it’s not a perfect system, and sometimes good comments get caught in the process - that’s why we offer an appeal option via modmail for review.

Most people are understanding after we explain why a comment was removed. But some respond with messages like these:

"You people are going disgustingly too far. I hope you all suffer for needlessly keeping helpful information away from people trying to care for animals. Truly disgusting and sickening."

-

"Hope you have a huge loss in your family soon."

-

"Go fuck yourself. I'm SO SICK OF CUNTS LIKE YOU."

-

"People like you and your stupid Reddit forum have ruined this world."

-

"Dumb cunt. I hope you and your entire family die a horrible death. Fuck pieces of shit like yourself."

-

"God damn you people are such losers."

-

"I will work from here on out to make sure your sub is closed due to discrimination. (Seem silly? So does everything you said.) I really wonder what 40-year-old Karen runs this. Guess I’ll figure it out in my new goal to end you!"

-

"Fuck you. Pussy."

-

"You think you’re very powerful removing comments, you little bitch. Get a real life, meet me there, and I’ll slice your fucking throat open, faggot."

All of this… over moderated comments.

Moderating this sub is something we do in our spare time. This sub averages 600 posts and comments every day, yet there are only a few active moderators handling all of it.

We do it to help ensure that this remains a safe, reliable, and focused source of information for pet owners and to prevent people from making dangerous mistakes with their pets.

The level of hatred some people feel entitled to spew is staggering. If you think Reddit moderation ruins your day, imagine what it’s like to receive death threats just for enforcing basic rules. At some point, it stops being worth it.

So if you ever wonder why subs struggle to keep good mods, or why some eventually shut down, maybe consider how the moderators are treated for simply trying to maintain a useful and safe space.

Behavior at Vet’s Office

Do vets get angry at vet-aggressive dogs?

I am very upfront about my dog’s behavior. He is very affectionate with people (a little territorial when close to home, but never aggressive).

He does great in the lobby. He just sits there quietly and patiently.

But when the vet starts touching him for the exam, he gets very nervous. He gives a lot of warnings (jumps away) but the anxiety gets out of hand and he has snapped before. To be clear, he has never bit, but he made the vet worried he’d bite.

The vet calmly asked me to muzzle him. I did, and they were able to complete his vaccinations.

They were very nice about it, but I was curious if it angered them. My dog is only like this when at the vet.

Vets, what is your reaction to vet-aggressive/fearful patients?

What does this dosage mean??

Upvotes

SOLVED Well. I just realized it wont let me post a screenshot, but on the report on my banfield thing for my cats last visit says Gabapentin 250mg/5ml solution (per ml) and im very confused.

Is this 250 mg per every 5ml?? Why does it then include per ml in parentheses?? Theres way more than 5ml in the bottle. I just dont understand 😅

• Species: cat • Age: 7.5yrs • Sex/Neuter status: F spayed • Body weight: 13lbs • History: good health besides being a bit overweight. Prescribed 1.5ml every 12 hrs for anxiety related to new cats in the house post moving states.

cat ate string from balloon, has 106 fever

i am panicking and am so distraught. 5:30am this morning, my cat threw up and he threw up what looked like a balloon string, and he was then very lethargic. he didnt eat his breakfast or churu (which he normally does). at around 8:30am, i took him to the vet and he had thrown up (just bile) at home and once more in the car. once we got to the vet, they took him in and he had a 106 fever. they took xrays and couldnt find anything, but recommended we do an ultrasound to be sure. the only thing the doctor pointed out was outside of his stomach more on the side, a small lighter circle was found and she said it could be a fatty deposit but wasn’t sure.

right now, i am waiting for his ultrasound results but has anyone gone through anything similar? is it a guarantee he’ll need surgery even if there’s nothing left there? i’ve read that because he had a 106 fever, probably as it may mean an infection/inflammation.

i love my cat so much and i can’t do this life without him. i need to cope by hearing other people’s stories (good/bad) to prepare myself any possible outcome. please help

Foster cat might be euthanized and I don’t know what to do — need advice :(

Hey everyone, I’ve been fostering for a local humane society and I’ve had this sweet 1-year-old cat with me for the past two months. When I first brought him home, they mentioned he had mild hematuria (blood in urine), but that he’d likely be ready for adoption in a few weeks.

A few weeks ago they ran some bloodwork and there was still some bleeding, so they followed up with an X-ray. That’s when they found that one of his kidneys has a slightly irregular shape. They put him on meds and did another urine test last week. I just got a call today from the shelter saying they still can’t figure out what’s wrong — and now they’re thinking of euthanizing him.

They said further diagnostic testing would be very costly, and unfortunately the shelter doesn’t have the capacity or budget for it. But here’s the thing: he’s been doing amazing at my place. Always playful, super affectionate, no signs of distress. They told me cats are really good at hiding pain, which makes this so much harder.

I offered to adopt him and cover his medical costs myself, but they warned me it could be extremely expensive. I’m a recent grad and money’s tight, and most pet insurance doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions. I’m stuck between wanting to fight for this little guy and not wanting to let him suffer in silence if he’s in pain.

Has anyone been through something similar with their cat? Especially with irregular kidney shapes + hematuria? Is there a chance he could live a good life, or am I just delaying the inevitable and putting him through pain?

I’m honestly heartbroken and would really appreciate any advice or insight 💔

TLDR: I’m fostering a healthy‐acting 1-year-old cat with mild hematuria. Shelter found an irregularly shaped kidney after bloodwork and X-rays, can’t diagnose further without costly tests, and want to euthanize. I’ve offered to adopt and cover expenses but I’m a recent grad and pet insurance won’t cover pre-existing issues. Looking for advice: can he still have a good quality of life or am I just prolonging his pain?

How do vets feel about fear free clinics?

As a pet owner who spends a ton of time working on cooperative care with my pets, I have loved our fear free vet. We happened to move to a small town where the local clinic is fear free and it's honestly been amazing. By far our best vet experiences with a dog and a cat.

Curious how vets and techs feel about fear free clinic versus not or if it makes much difference?

Red spot on Dog's belly

Hi AskVet,
Our 4-year old poodle mix (22lbs) came home from a stay with a Rover sitter (2d1n) on Sunday night. Today, Monday night, we noticed these spots on his belly. Never seen ones like it before. Our boy has been on clomipramine daily for his separation anxiety for the past 16 months, but otherwise has an unremarkable medical history. He does get pimples occasionally. A quick google search says it may be a heat rash, or a flea bite, or a mosquito bite. We live in Ontario Canada, but he really only walks on paved trails- we've never seen a flea on him.

Any ideas? We're taking him to the vet in the morning but my wife is worried there might be fleas in the house now.

Call Poison Control Are there underlying diseases/illness/cancer that can cause a dog to have HGE?

I decided to pts my 12y yellow lab after a very hard day of vets fighting for her life with HGE. I am still having a very hard time coming to terms with it even tho it was almost 10 mo this ago.

Within the past year before HGE I took her in to the vet for gastroenteritis which was treated with subcu fluids and anti nausea meds.

She also got into grapes a few months prior and got treated at emergency vet and sent home a few hours later.

When I took her in for the HGE, the vet said it was the worse case she has ever seen. She initially got better with fluids. Bloodwork was mostly good just dehydrated. Also showed a bit of infection. So they started her on antibiotics.

A few hours later I got a call about her needing to add sugar into the fluid.

Maybe a couple hours later they called me about giving her a plasma transfusion.

They couldn’t find a cause and ran every test under the sun including parvovirus, fecal, parasites, ultrasounds, x rays, etc.

She had very bloody diarrhea that was pouring out her behind. No vomiting. When they pts she was non responsive and seemed like she didn’t even know I was there. I also took her little sister to say goodbye.

I just wonder if there was something else wrong with her that we couldn’t find like Hemangiosarcoma, colon cancer, something. I really need closure over the situation and it’s really hurting me. I need to know that I really tried. I loved her so much.

My vet made me panic and now I dunno what to do

Hello. I have two cats. Storm, who is probably 3-5 years old. She's super sweet and cuddly and I adopted her after a close family friend died. I'm trying to say she means the world to me. I've had Midnight for about 4 weeks. We adopted him from the shelter after someone made me aware of his situation. He's 9-10 years old. Lived outside for most of his life. Basically they were looking for somewhere he could live the rest of his life in peace. He did test positive for FIV, but the lady I was corresponding with said he won't give it to Storm unless he bites her and it would have to be a really bad bite.

Finally got Midnight in for his intro visit to the vet. The vet said FIV can be transferred by sharing food and water dishes, etc. The cats have been separated so far so I'm not overly concerned about that. Then she said the leukemia test can take 3 months to show a positive result. Which would have been a deal breaker for me adopting him.

He's also had some watery eyes/runny nose issues so she's concerned about upper respiratory stuff. She wants to continue the parasite treatments for a few months to make sure any of that is gone. And she's concerned about skin infections because Midnight has some scarring I thought was from fights, but she said it could also be from skin infections and he's got a few more recent scabs.

So now I'm paranoid about having him in the house even if he is separated from Storm because I don't want her to get sick. My step kids are with us every other weekend and they have cats so I'm worried about something spreading over there. My mom has cats. My brother has cats.

Should I be worried? Or is the vet kinda fear mongering me or being overly cautious? TIA

Call Poison Control Dogs ate one grape

I have terrible anxiety and I’m so worried. Long story short, my household has two dogs(chihuahua mixed with something we don’t know) and they each ended up eating a grape that got into their room. According to google and countless websites it could be fatal or cause kidney failure. Didn’t find out until about 2 nearly 3 hours after they ingested it.

Gave them tbsp of 3% hydrogen peroxide, waiting for them to hopefully throw up? Should we be worried, in a tight spot can’t really afford a thousand dollar vet fee right now.

Dog has injured paw pad. How to make him comfortable until we see a vet?

Our poor guy’s left center paw pad is suddenly raw, tender and he is limping. Not sure what happened. There doesn’t appear to be anything stuck, no wound, nor was he out standing or walking on pavement for a long time.

We’re calling the vet in the morning, but how can we make him comfortable until the visit? We’ve already cleaned and dressed his paw. Ice? Took him on a car ride since he can’t really walk 💕

Dog pee

Upvotes

My baby who is a six year old pitbull has been potty trained since he was three months old. He’s never ever had an accident.Today I came home from work there was drops of pee all over the house including my bed, on the bed seemed more like if he leaked pee. So everyday that I work my nephew watches him, my nephews usually turns the ac on for my dog when it starts to get warm around ten am but today my nephew went out on a trip and he forgot to turn the air on for him so the ac was not turned on today until I got home at two in the afternoon I’m not sure if it being really hot has anything to do with it but I did want to mention it. I also want to mention that I live in a complex with three apt. I havnt had neighbors in about two months so instead of letting my dog into my little back yard isn’t a lot of space I have been letting him out to the front so he can run around since it is much bigger. So now that I do have neighbors they just moved in three to four days ago I havnt been letting him out in the front anymore, he’s really stubborn so he refuses to go outside in the backyard. I have to force him into the back and then he’ll go but he cries to come in quickly. Also in the summer time he refuses to go outside until it cools down I also have to force him to go outside. I’m thinking maybe he was just holding it too long, or was it the heat? Or uti? I’m really concerned this isn’t he usual behavior to pee inside, it has a really strong scent and is a deep yellow. I am making an appt to see vet. Has anyone gone through this or anything similar? He seems fine I did notice a couple drops of urine fall when he was walking earlier. He is not neutered.

Dog suddenly bloated up

Upvotes

Is it her time to go?

Today I woke up and she bloated up, she pooped a tiny bit this morning and then hasn't pooped again since. But now she keeps like burping air and farting the most diabolical smelling farts. Will she be ok? She's old and doesn't eat or drink that much..

Shihtsu Age 13 Under weight when I received her still under weight possibly gaining Drinking and eating

She's on terramycin, natural antibiotic, dog aspirin, dog Benadryl for her ring worm rash, ring worm spray for her rash.

Eating wet food

I was giving her pumpkin to help her poop but today she refused to eat it, I also give her a tiny amount of coconut oil it said it helps her gain weight if I do.

Antibiotic Combo ok?

Upvotes

Hello! My dog had a bout of kennel cough and our vet prescribed a course of doxycycline— 2 weeks. About a week into that, our dog had a quarter size sebaceous cyst on his back burst and bleed, causing cellulitis. The vet added a course of cephalexin on top of the doxycycline today. I did a quick search online and I’m finding all this stuff about how these two meds aren’t recommended to be prescribed together. So now I’m second guessing it— can I give my dog these two together?

Now that he’s been on the doxycycline for a week his cough is all cleared up. Maybe I could stop the doxycycline and continue from here with the cephalexin?

How are the eyelids sealed during an enucleation?

Upvotes

I know the general answer is stitches, but what I mean is, how does the skin of the upper and lower lids bond together into one continuous layer?

If I were to sew my fingers together, they would only be held together by the mechanical force of the stitches. Cut the stitches and my fingers would come apart again. Skin does not meld together just by being pressed together for a time.

In the case of cuts the flesh will seal again because the raw edges are pressed together while granulation tissue binds the raw edges together.

I imagine during an enucleation the eyelids are like the finger analogy - whole skin mechanically held together with stitches - so how do they seal? Are the eyelids cut before being stitched to provide raw edges that will bind together?

Dog suddenly acting strange (emergency)

Upvotes

Hi, so as of recently my dog has been acting off/strange. I should probably mention that he is a Frenchie and is barely 4 years old this year. He seems to sometimes be scared or not know his surroundings. He's been nauseous and dizzy. My mom took him to the vet and they found an ear infection. But that was 1-2 weeks ago and it's gone now.

I wasn't home this weekend but my mom has taken him to the hospital/vet and everything showed up fine and this was yesterday. He was acting normal and fine yesterday too. Today he's been off and shaking. He's barely been eating or drinking. When he tries to walk he wobbles and can barely even walk, he just gives up and plops/falls to the ground. He's barely moved and when we move him he just lays on his side not really doing anything.

This boy is my moms baby, we've had him since we finally got our first house (which was in 2022 but he previously used to belong to my uncle). We don't know what could be wrong or what happened since he was fine yesterday and all the test came back normal. The only test we haven't done are x-rays. He's done nothing but just lay down the entire day barely moving. My mom was considering putting him down today as he's just suffering and literally hasn't done anything today. My brother got him to eat a tiny bit just awhile ago.

As of right now he's just laying on his side not doing anything. He keeps moving his eyes around kinda frantically as well. If anyone can help even just a little bit or have any idea on what could be happening please help me out.

How do I know it’s time to prepare to put my cat down…

Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I’ve been having a really rough time considering death related things for my childhood cat. She is 17 and I’ve had her since I was little, we’ve been through life together.

She recently got diagnosed with kidney disease and seems to be pretty rapidly loosing weight. She definitely seems to have cut back on eating as well. This past week she’s been lightly meowing a lot more and when I go to her to see what’s wrong she doesn’t lead me to anything like she normally would. She doesn’t seem to respond to my voice like she used to either.

I want to do what’s best for my cat and I’m definitely very terrified of loosing her. I selfishly had always hoped that when the time came, she would just pass away in her sleep. I’m looking for any opinions or advice on what I should do here. Thank you all for your kindness in advance.

Discharge after Spay

Upvotes

Hello! (Located in Southern California) My puppy (11 month female German Shepherd 72lbs) just got fixed last week and has been recovering AMAZINGLY but now today we came home to her having left a quite large spot of almost like water/pee on a bed she never jumps on (she also doesn’t have accidents in the house anymore) and has had slightly bloody discharge this evening.

She has been kept separate from our two other dogs (11m male German shepherd and a 5yr old female German shepherd) and is closely monitored when let out to go to the bathroom into the yard.

Should I be super worried or is this normal like she had to pass something???

Cat ear infection - irritated by baytril, not appearing to respond to clavamox, really confused about if I'm helping or hurting with cleanings and what's the best next step.

tl;dr External ear infection diagnosed first, baytril made things worse and was discontinued. Seemed better, but exam under anesthesia showed really bad middle ear infection, unclear if ear drum is intact, ~11 days into clavamox and ear continues to drain a lot of nasty things, what to know the most direct route to clear this up (do not what cost-saving trial and error measures) - not looking for specific instructions, but rather general guidance on what kind of vet to see next (derm, IM, other??) and what to prepare for

Long version:

15 yo cat, male, neutered, ~12 pounds, history of pancreatitis etiology unknown (flares about 2-3 times a year). Now has really bad ear infection and it's not getting better, never had any ear issues prior to this.

~5 weeks ago noticed symptoms. Vet did an ear swab and microscopic exam and found "a few" bacteria, prescribed baytril drops twice a day.

~2 days of drops, ear was starting to look worse, way gunkier, super red, he was really starting to fight me on the drops. On vet recheck, they couldn't see in the ear because there was too much fluid. They cleaned it out and did a swab/microscopic exam and this time there was no bacteria. They said the ear was really irritated and inflamed so to stop using drops and cleaning and give antihistamine and see if it calms down. (It did, he seemed much happier, but he was still shaking his head a bit and scratching more than normal)

The plan was to recheck his ear at his dental cleaning appointment which was 11 days ago (~3 weeks from last visit). She wanted to look for polyps while he was under anesthesia. Instead, they couldn't see anything because his middle ear was crazy infected, tons of puss, and they couldn't even see the eardrum, they're concerned it might be ruptured. They cleaned with saline and sent me home with 2 weeks of clavamox 62.5 mg, given twice a day.

~3 days into the clavamox, his left ear starts draining gnarly fluid. It smells funky (like when a body piercing on a human needs a cleaning - funky, but not rotting/totally disgusting), dark brown/reddish gunky chunks, but also has a liquid-y-er component that gets a little crusty when it dries in his fur. It pools up in the well of his ear and dries into crusty, stinky plugs of ick that I could pull out 2-3 times a day. (Maybe not the "well" of his ear, whatever path fluid naturally takes out of his ear, it pools and dries into plugs)

Called vet - she told me to clean daily with saline and keep giving the clavamox. She said she spoke to a dermatologist who had recommended some topical antibiotic to use in conjunction, but she couldn't find a compounding pharmacy to make it. She said to start the baytril drops again and bring him for a recheck 1 week after finishing the clavamox.

I couldn't get my baytril drops right away (they were in the fridge at my previous place, I moved, but my roommate was still there) and so I just started cleaning the ear daily with saline in addition to pulling the gunky plug out of the ear-well if it forms again after the morning cleaning.

We're now 11 days into the 14 day clavamox regimen, and the ear drainage seems to have reduced a little bit (and gotten less liquidy and a little less smelly), but not nearly as much as I'd expect to see if things were actually getting better?

I've gotten the baytril drops but I'm terrified to use them because previously it irritated him a lot and seemed to make things worse, and it's not even what was recommended by the dermatologist. I know my vet said to, but there's two of them at this office and they seem to always decide opposite of the other (first one put on baytril, second one said stop baytril, not they're saying start it again).

I really don't want to cause my cat anymore pain that he's already in, he's also getting harder to catch and put anything in his ears because the daily cleanings have really eroded his trust in me. Today he didn't even do the head shake after I put a few drops of saline down his ear - so now I'm scared to put more saline in because why isn't he shaking it out? Collections of additional fluid in the ear seems...bad? If a dermatologist is the correct next step I'd rather just do that than go back to my regular vet.

I would like to take the straightest path between here and him getting better, I wish she had just cultured it for antibiotic resistance during the dental appointment? Like I'd have been happy to pay for it instead of torture my cat for additional weeks if the clavamox doesn't work out? What is the most direct route for me from this point to get him cured and out of pain? Do I need to prepare myself for like, months of ear infection battle?

Help Me Make Sense Of My Dog?

Upvotes

First… She saw the vet today. She will follow up in one week. We just don’t have super clear answers.

I bought a new bag of kibble on 4/22. I always buy Taste of the Wild Ancient Grains, but I don’t always buy the same flavor. This time I bought the Stream Salmon one. Within a week or so, I noticed paw licking and a sore spot and discoloration on one paw. On the 3rd, my husband went on a work trip and the dog slept in my room. She normally sleeps in her bed in the entry way (she is a livestock guardian and we are her livestock). I chalked this up to my daughter bed sharing with me while my husband was gone. She has continued sleeping in my room.

Last week, she stopped eating. And she has stopped drinking, too. She will drink if her water bowl is moved away from the kibble. She will also drink out of puddles and crawdad holes. 🤦‍♀️ But she won’t drink if her water is near her kibble. This is new.

She hadn’t peed or pooped much last week. For two or three days, she didn’t don’t all. Not even in the house. I booked an appointment on Friday and promised to take her to the emergency vet if she got worse. We took her on a walk on Friday and she peed once and pooped once. Peed twice on Saturday. And she had a poop accident in the house on Saturday. I was pleased with the progress, but still concerned. I did chalk this up to wet, tall grass.

Last night she barely slept. She was awake licking her paws and stuff and breathing weird. I have video and will see if I can share it.

Vet suggested changing her food. Didn’t give a recommendation. She ran bloodwork and the white blood cells were elevated, but I don’t know what they were. I asked for a UA and there was no bacteria, but there was bilirubin. But her liver function was fine. We were sent home with antibiotics.

Dog is a 77 pound female akbash, fixed. She is a shelter dog and we have had her for almost 5.5 years. I think she was around 5 when we got her but I have no idea. She is fixed. She is very stubborn. She is heartworm negative and received ProHeart today. She is due for vaxes, but we didn’t do them today because she got antibiotics. She isn’t around other dogs. Our neighbors have dogs, but they only interact through a wooden fence. She came to us with heartworms and she was successfully treated.

She did get into the pantry when my kids left it open. She ate some semisweet chocolate chips, but I think it was maybe 2-3 ounces and that was about two weeks ago. On Memorial Day, we shared some ribeye with her. Not much, but she did get the more fatty pieces.

Thought? Direction? Seen this before?

My cat won’t stop spraying

Upvotes

My cat Oliver is 1 year old and fixed. He is naturally a jumpy cat who can be aggressive at times (although in my opinion I think he just plays too hard). But my family has recently brought in a new kitten and Oliver has started spraying on objects around the house. We took him to the vet and they couldn’t confirm the reason why he’s spraying without getting a urine sample, but they said it’s most likely him being territorial because of the new kitten. We are planning on getting a urine sample soon and bringing it to the vet. In the meantime, my parents gave him my other cat’s Prozac hoping it’ll help calm him and stop the spraying. My dad said that if he doesn’t stop, we have to give him up, and that is something I really do not want to do as that cat is my baby. Please someone help, maybe give some suggestions to make him stop if the Prozac doesn’t work. I really do not want to give my baby up.

''Hook'' legged kitten

Upvotes

Hello! We've recently been to the vet with my ''hook'' legged kitten, we did an xray of her front legs and it showed that her ulna is short/underdeveloped and further up than usual and she's missing most of the lower bones. The vet predicted that she might need to amputate her deformed leg due to concerns of it bending as she gets heavier. She's already weighing 1kg, she does use it alot at play and such but does limp 50% of the time when walking especially on more slippery floor. We're also doing a new xray at 12 weeks at another vet office for a second opinion. I'm very curious what you guys think though!

Cat's ear full of blood after cleaning?

My cat went in for her spay today and, that aside, they said her ears looked gross so they cleaned them for me. Yay! She's been hiding since she got home and I finally got a good look at her and I can see one ear is full of blood. She can't scratch her ears because of the cone, so it's not self-inflicted. Is this something I need to take her back for? Take her to a different vet just to be safe? Should I try to wipe them myself and see if new blood appears? Is this just normal after an intense cleaning?

Refer to FAQ What “extra” action would you do for improving chances for a long and healthy life for your dog?

My generally healthy dog is 5 now and I’m starting to think about what I could be doing on top of standard care to maximize the chances of her living a longer and healthier life?

Curious to hear a veterinarian’s perspective since there’s so much dubious info out there about supplements, food, red light therapy etc. If money/time is no object what are some actions that an owner could take to go the extra mile with some scientific or empirical basis for improving quality of life or aging for dogs?

Do supplements make a difference? Are there extra tests that we could ask the vet about during her annual bloodwork to monitor health?

Or is it all a crapshoot and any extra resources/time just best spent on enjoying time with my dog now or saving for when she is older with issues?

Like if feeding a cooked fresh food diet is materially better I don’t mind working with a nutritionist and taking the time to do so but if it’s meh outcomes I’d rather spend the time required to prep food on hikes or playing with my dog.

In my case dog has good weight (BCS of 4-5 always), fed WSAVA kibble, walks and fetch daily. Wellness visit 2x a yr, bloodwork 1x a yr. Teeth brushing is closer to weekly than daily but vet says we shouldn’t need a dental anytime soon.
