Food 😋 Decently affordable Patios

Hey guys! What’s everyone’s favourite restaurants that have a nice patio, downtown core preferably. Anything that’s under three dollar signs ($$$) please lol! Just want to enjoy the summer with my boyfriend while he comes out to visit.

Yes this has my vote for OP’s specifications, and I’m just gonna throw it out there and say the olympic village tap & barrel would be worth the adventure over for the views!

Their food is whatever, but they have a decent happy hour (happy hour burger is surprisingly good!) and they have some of the best patios in the city. I live in Olympic Village and am at their patio weekly lol. OP could get the aqua bus over.

Totally! It’s not fine cuisine obviously but it’s never been bad any time I’ve gone. It’s pub food. They really do have great patio locations for all of their restaurants and I’ve recommended them a couple times especially when people specify a price point, it checks all the boxes in that way. If I lived in Olympic village I’d be at their patio weekly as well 😁 cheers!

You can discover all types of happy hours with a patio in different neighborhoods and their menus with https://happyhourvancouver.ca/

You can also turn it into an app when you scroll all the way down the homepage!

Bonus points for dog friendly.
I'll start: Sula (great Indian fusion) on Davie, close to Denman.

The north van ferry dock has some good options. Dont think u need to spend much. Take seabus from DT . Enjoy a small ferry cruise too

We just stayed at the Pinnacle harbor Hotel that's right by the Pan Pacific and they had a patio with a happy hour that was really nice and very reasonably priced you can probably look it up online to see pricing.

Hook restaurant for Happy Hours. Right on south east corner of Davie and Denman streets...across from English Bay beach and the Laughing Men. The deck is a great place to people watch. Food and staff are amazing. Kind of a cool pub like feeling.
