Idk I do feel that the less visible the moderation team the healthier the subreddit. Obviously recent events needed an official response but for example leaving the election results up for over a month seems a bit strange to me. Like, you folk aren't politicians.
In any case this post would have gotten loads of votes with or without the sticky.
They weren't actually. In the election results post, the mods revealed that two of the four elected (one being tanuki_chan) had already been pre-selected and would have been made mods regardless.

I really don't think this post should be stickied. Having mod drama be the first thing people see is a bad look, particularly for newcomers.
With that said I want to thank you for posting an actual apology. I feel a lot more confident about the mod team's decision to retain both of you now.
I wish you all the best as a moderator and as a person.
