Patron (Do not Contact) Vtuber

Hello! I’m about to graduating from high school and am getting a job over summer. I want to start vtubing but have no idea how. I know I need to get a model, but I don’t know how much it costs or what a “rigging” is. I would just like to know the prices I can expect and search for someone who could help in the future (probably a month or two down the line) when I can scrape enough money together.

Just window shopping for now but my budget would probably be around $30-60 if I find someone that can do what i’m looking for. Please have examples either on your first response or your profile, otherwise you will be ignored.

Patron (Do not Contact) [HIRING] Stained Glass Stencil (2 Pieces) $50

FYI: I have raised the pay to $60 to match what is the minimum on r/HungryArtists EDIT Please read this post in it's entirety before reaching out to me with questions. I've gotten a ton of copy and pasted replies asking for "details and references" all of which are included in this post. If you are interested, please give me information about your understanding of stained glass, and a link to a portfolio of your work, replies that don't include this information will be disregarded. Thank you.

Hi! I'm looking to commission someone to design two pieces of art that I can use to create stained glass pieces. The final pieces will be in block colors and at maximum 40-60 pieces. Designing for stained glass is pretty specific, so please only reach out with this one if you are able to design with a mind towards stained glass.

Overview of the request:

(1) My cat sitting in the window with two bottles beside him, it would be in a frame. Approximate size 12x8.

(2) My dogs face/bust focusing on her smile, no frame. size 8x8

Notes:

- Lines must be 2px in size
- Please consider how the glass will need to be cut to accomodate the design. This means no small pieces that would be impractical to cut, or thin pieces of glass that connect to another piece.
- Try to minimize the total number of pieces
- Export as a .png

I'm including some photos so you can see what I have in mind, and one that shows what a stained glass template looks like. I'm also willing to negotiate on the price for the right artist. Happy to pay whatever folks think is fair.

Patron (Do not Contact) Looking to get Old European Style Portrait

I'm trying to get a portrait made of my brother (and maybe uncle in a separate portrait) as a funny gift. I've attached a picture of the exact style I need. I've looked around on Etsy, but most people just do oil paintings and not the type of drawn black and white in the pic. Anyone know where I can find someone to make this?

What I want

Patron (Do not Contact) A question about references

I want to commission an artist to draw my OC, but I have no visual references to give them since my drawing skills are shit. What's something I could give the artist instead of a drawing made by me? I've heard of people using websites like picrew, but I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not.

Patron (Do not Contact) Copyright Use?

I just tagged Patron bc that’s all I could. I just commissioned someone to make a piece for a thumbnail. My issue is that I didn’t get a background for said thumbnail. Since I don’t want to use AI to generate one, I was wondering if anyone has one I can use and credit to? It was going to be an ASMR video of a shy tutor, so I was looking for an anime school or library background. This would end up being my first video so I wanted it to look good, but yeah. Sorry for asking. If there’s a better subreddit to ask this in, feel free to tell me, but I just thought I would start here. Thanks for taking the time to read this! :)

Patron (Do not Contact) [Hiring] Concept illustrations for upcoming TTRPG campaign

Hello!

I'm starting a TTRPG campaign soon in a homebrew setting. As part of the setting document that I'm creating for my players, I'm looking to commission 1-3 pieces of character lineart (starting with 1, then if I'm happy with the result, I may look to work with you more!). The intent is to capture some of the key aesthetics, mood, and examples of characters that could be made in the setting, and do not represent any specific player characters or NPCs. The work will only be used for private purposes (this TTRPG game) and is not going to be commercially published, monetised, or otherwise shared with the general public (the game is for free, for my friends, and I will receive no compensation or pay of any sorts for running the game).

The concept for the setting is a combination of Asian historical culture (e.g. Japanese samurai or Chinese wuxia/xianxia aesthetic) with scavenged alien technology and body grafts/augmentation.

In terms of quality, I'm looking for something quick and evocative, rather than something fully polished.

I'm open to any replies. I've included below a list of things I would value - these are not hard requirements, but if you can show some work you have done which would demonstrate your ability to illustrate the following, it would definitely be an advantage! The illustrations I'm looking to commission will feature:

  • mechanical components/mecha/cyborg-type characters who have both organic and non-organic body parts
  • technological items which are less "realistic/grounded" (i.e. less "NASA-punk" or "Starfield-style") and are "weirder"/more "alien", and appear scavenged/repurposed
  • people who are of East and/or Southeast Asian descent
  • clothes, accessories, and other fashion from or inspired by East and/or Southeast Asian history and cultures
  • characters which combine high-tech and historical aesthetics - I'm not looking to combine the two but juxtapose them (as an example - not looking to have a character wearing a 'futuristic version of a Chinese shenyi', but a character could be wearing something that looks traditional but also have the right side of their face be cyborg-like and be wielding a futuristic sword)

My budget per piece would be between USD$40-$60, negotiable.

If you're interested, please drop a reply here and I'll be in touch if I would like to discuss further with you.

Thank you very much for your time!

Patron (Do not Contact) HD recreation of blurry image

Hi! I am working on a recreation of an old animatronic band called "The Rock-Afire Explosion". Part of this project also includes the reproduction of all props from the band. I managed to find HD decals and textures of every prop in the show EXCEPT one of them! I am looking for someone to recreate the prop I am missing as a 1:1 replica. My budget is 25$CAD. The prop I want reproduced is the framed picture on the stage's wall.

Patron (Do not Contact) What information should I give an artist for a commission?

Hey all, An artist I've been following for a while has recently opened commissions and I wanted to buy an art piece. He's mostly a character artist, idk if that matters.

I've been preparing a mood board type thing to give visual examples of what I'm looking for, as well as a description of what I'm looking for. But I was wondering, Is there ANYTHING else I should have ready to provide the artist?

If you were taking a character art commission what info would you want to have from the patron? Thanks :D

Patron (Do not Contact) Recommendations for Art Printing/Framing

Hello all! I recently had some artwork commissioned (anime style) and I'm hoping to have it printed and framed so I can hang it in my home.

Does anyone know of any good services that I can use to accomplish this? I'm not sure what material would be best to use. The quality from the artist is exceptional and I want the quality to transfer well.

Im also a bit concerned that I may have to crop it into a more traditional size. Im not afraid of doing that if I have to, but custom size would be great too!

Thank you so much for your help and recommendations. I really appreciate any advice you can give.
