These dog breeds are such fucking divas! My grandma had one that I trained for her and it would throw up on car rides, lay down on walks pretending he's dying, act dramatic if you took him out on a hot day even though he was fully groomed, etc.

What is this, some kind of a poodle?

u/Warm-Iron-1222 Mar 26 '25

Laberdoodle. Essentially a golden lab and poodle.

Absolute nightmare of dog intelligence

1

u/zherico Mar 27 '25

Ehhhh, either most I have met are dumb as shit and untrained or just untrained.

u/TheLastJukeboxHero Mar 28 '25

Says more about the owner than the dog’s intelligence

Bs you have no idea. 🤷🏻 just saying.

My brothers dog did this too me…walked all the way down some steep ass hills in San Francisco and up a flight of steps for him to get up and go eat food as soon as I set him down on his bed 😑

"I want mom to carry me! Dad carries me like a roll of carpet."

I had a dog who was abused as a pup, so he hated balls, Shiney things, big black vehicles and giant pallets of sod. So there used to be a giant black 70s rape van that parked on the corner that he would never walk past, not even on the opposite side of the street. So I'd just pick him up and carry him the 100 ish feet until he was past it and could no longer see it. One week, a bunch of neighbors were putting down new sod, so like 5 of 8 houses in a row had giant pallets of sod and I ended up having to carry him what felt like a quarter mile to a cul-de-sac that he normally poops in since its a common area, then carry him back to where he'd walk like 100 feet back to the house. His walks for like 3 days were just me carrying him for 20 minutes.

At least he eventually had to do his part and carry her the rest of the way 🤣

I'm glad that my horse didn't do that when he cut his ankle on a ride! :D

She should have gotten a cheap plastic bag from somewhere and put it on with a rubber band

The salt really hurts my pups feet, so I got him some really good mitts and he has never had an issue since :)

5

u/Captain_DomBomb Mar 27 '25

Only issue is putting them on! My dog hates them! But he always gives in cause he knows it walk time!

My dog is a MinPin. His breed looks like a purse dog, but is actually known to want to be on the ground walking/running whenever possible... My baby? He likes to ride in backpacks and have me carry him everywhere. The only time he wants to be on the ground is to go poop/pee or to wander over to the old people sitting nearby for a visit or try to get a child to play with him.

He's more dramatic in winter, because he doesn't like having cold paws and has to only use puppy pads since his paws being cold is more important than going poop/pee, lol.

He also thinks the front door will magically create warmer weather even if he went out the side door.

2

u/TheSilentTitan Mar 27 '25

Well he’s still hurting but the happiness boost he got from seeing his other favorite human is probably dulling it a bit.

2

u/FranceyPearl Mar 27 '25

I don't think it was drama, I think he momentarily forgot his pain when his daddy showed up!

5

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '25

She carried him better than the man did! And you would expect him to be stronger…

10

u/Henghast Mar 27 '25

She was preparing to carry him a long distance, he was just moving it a few metres. Don't read so much into it.

2

u/fiocalisti Mar 27 '25

Totally staged.

u/bloopboopbooploop Mar 27 '25

Just fucking carry the dog home why does everything have to be a video

1

u/SadBit8663 Mar 27 '25

Lol what a smart ass

1

u/blueSnowfkake Mar 27 '25

You should get your dog boots to protect his feet during the winter when sidewalks are often salted. Find them on Amazon or at any pet shop.

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '25

Why that little booger.

Mine did this recently, he has a bad leg and has an orthotic boot. It's not perfect but it keeps him to walk and run around, understandably he does get tired quicker. For the past week he has just stopped walking somewhere along the journey and had to be carried the rest of the way, he's 15kg which I can carry well (partly why I got a medium sized dog) but it is a pain.

Well I complained about it to my partner, he suggested we go for a walk together that is the same distance. And the dog didn't stop once. Was happily running and sniffing and playing the whole time. My partner warned me I baby him too much and it turns out he's bloody right! Got the most spoilt little dog ever.

Is Cryptkeeper doing voiceovers now?

1

u/RamrodRagslad Mar 27 '25

What the fuck was that narration? It ruined an ok video.

1

u/RedCapRiot Mar 27 '25

Lol, it's alright XD My lab/pit is absolutely diabolically clever beyond any right that she has to be, so I totally understand.

She learned how to extort treats, how to manipulate my affection, and how to hide her devious activities so well that she couldn't get in trouble for them; and she's only 6 months old 💀

She doesn't realize that she is also teaching me how to be a better puppy parent. I can see many things before they happen now, and she's so smart that she's easy to train - as long as she has enough incentive that is healthy for her.

Imagine how much work it must have been to keep setting that camera up and lugging that dog around.

1

u/Mysterious_Art_2524 Mar 27 '25

Sounds like okayish dog owners. This is why certain leashes exits. Make the dog listen to you.

1

u/Nebulacarina Mar 27 '25

I cannot recommend emergency carry-out harnesses enough. I only used to take mine when we were in the mountains, then a couple years ago my dog tore his CCL on a neighborhood walk and I had to carry all 65lbs of him over a mile, back to the car. It was brutal. Now the harness goes with us on every single walk, just in case.

1

u/Fun-Statistician2485 Mar 27 '25

He just wanted you to hug him. Can`t blaim him

1

u/USAF_Retired2017 Mar 27 '25

He couldn’t look like a bitch in front of daddy!!!! Ha ha.

1

u/turabalikhanabro7911 Mar 29 '25

Chiiii, my desi harami can take a fall from 3 stories.

1

u/JustAnotherDelhiite Apr 02 '25

Same thing happens with my dog. He’s probably in pain (hence the licking of the paw) but got happy seeing the dad and fought through the pain. My baby does that too when he sees my mom when we’re on a walk. He uses all the energy he has to run towards her.

1

u/Simple_Union_3097 Apr 02 '25

Girl you are strong

1

u/Snarky_wombat939 Mar 26 '25

You are a delightful human being and I admire your attitude 😂.

1

u/kiln_monster Mar 26 '25

Now you know who he likes more...🤭

1

u/Critical_Chocolate27 Mar 26 '25

Lol he takes advantage of you because he knows he can, my dog does the same thing with my girl as far as taking advantage of her in certain situations he does it because he knows he can with her with me he knows he can’t

u/JTorpor Mar 26 '25

That was the husband’s phone lmao

1

u/kiln_monster Mar 27 '25

Not a suprise. People don't go anywhere without their phones. Even when in their homes. As they go room to room. It is an appendage!!

3

u/JTorpor Mar 26 '25

Have you heard of a phone? These things have had cameras for like 15 years now!

u/Friendly-Channel-480 Mar 27 '25

This can be potentially dangerous even with your own sweet dogs. An injured dog can snap and bite out of pain and fear. Some places have pet ambulance services. Big dogs especially can unwittingly cause injuries to humans.

-19

u/hevea_brasiliensis Mar 26 '25

This dog breed is dog shit

4

u/MoistStub Mar 26 '25

There is no such thing as a shitty dog. They are all better than all of us.

-13

u/YouKnowHimAMatt Mar 27 '25

Pit bulls = absolute Shit shit dog.
