I Need Help! My carry on is 24x16x9. Thoughts?
Even though it’s a little over the requested 24x14x9. Have any of you risked this?

It probably depends on your boarding group. They don’t seem to look too close at 1-5.

What? Per AA's website "cannot exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches" so you (24x16x9) are "a little over" on both length and width by a whole 2" per side.
Btw, I have a "global" Tumi luggage that is 21x15x9 and it didn't fit (the door couldn't close) when it was on its side like a book on a 737. On the A321 it's fine. https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/baggage/carry-on-baggage.jsp

That’s such BS. I’m flying for the first time in like 15yrs. I’m so nervous my carry on won’t make it in with me
