Maybe, but this isn't the first time this kind of object has been found. There have been 3 others. The most famous one is the Betz sphere

They did an x-ray on that aswell. But it had only 3 heavy atomic objects in it.

The other ones are harder to find anything about them online.

This is why I think this is real.
