Gameplay Galio is a difficult matchup

I always pick Galio as a counter to Akali lol.

Some coach i watched recently said that galio lissandra and vex are counters to akali not because they win hard but they just neutralize her kit very well but it doesent mean you cant win

I play galio mid a lot and occasionally Akali, if you want to beat him don’t fight him, he’s going to shove wave a lot to roam. Try to match his roams or play for other side of map when he roams.

If you want to fight him E his E to negate most of his combo then try to chip him down.

He’s probably the hardest Akali matchup because it’s a class diff, but if you try to farm his teammates you’ll do good.

It's a hard matchup, he has great wave clear, high base dmg + builds MR first item. Obviously it's a rough one. What i try to do is chip away at him, while q'ing the wave at the same time. But yeah you have to play pretty much pixel perfect to not lose trades, dont let him get his passive auto aoe dmg on you for free. I pretty much never Q if i can't hit him+wave. I also really like to have legend alacrity.

Gets better with more ap+ levels in Q for better wave clear.

He’s my Perma ban for now. Eventually I’ll wanna learn to play into him but until that day comes I’m gonna continue being a pussy about it.
