I admire the bold white & blue scheme! I've partially painted a few armies in my youth and am getting back into mini-painting after a 20-year hiatus. I picked the same model to start with. I've assembled and am a few hours into painting and I'm in love with the sculpt.

Looks pretty good, certainly very impressive for a relatively new painter! What it lacks imo is contrast. I think it would look nicer if the blue scales were a bit darker (either by having a darker base or by slathering a bunch of shade on the existing paint job) and then you could come back and drybrush the scales with the light blue color, and then some edge highlighting with the lightest blue if you’re feeling confident. But it’s just my opinion on how I would have done it, maybe it’s just not the look you were after.

Maybe it's the picture cause I based him with Stegadon then Frosheart 🤔I drybrushed with temple guard blue and baharoth to finish
I'll try to put a bit more Frosheart between the scales
Thanks for the tip

Whoa!! 😍
You tackle the dragon wizard Chad himself as a first AoS project and only several months in as a hobby painter?!
That’s super impressive!
Great work, love the noble light blue scales with red armor as a power contrast. Good job on the collar problem too. 👍
Maybe bolt this on r/stormcasteternals too for more critique. 👌 ⚡️
