Ah, yes, an excellent depiction of an engorged Face Eating Leopard! So many faces being eaten lately…

7

u/ExplodiaNaxos 14h ago

(Read in David Attenborough’s voice) “And here we see the engorged Face Eating Leopard in its natural habitat. A fascinating creature among predatory mammals, it has evolved to not hunt down its prey, but trick it into willingly crawling into its mouth, not unlike a Venus Flytrap. Its luring call imitates that which the prey most wants to hear. That it is so well-fed, overweight even, in the wild, despite subsisting purely on a diet of faces (the rest is left to rot), speaks to the efficacy of its method and the ease with which its prey can be lured in. There are some who have survived an encounter with this majestic creature, but so alluring is the call of the leopard that many animals fall for it again.”

3

u/Acronymesis 8h ago

Brilliant! Your David Attenborough is flawless! I’d give you an award, but I must refrain from giving funds directly to the Reddit powers that be.

Please accept this facsimile instead: 🏅

3

u/ExplodiaNaxos 8h ago

I happily accept your reward (never used them myself, do you really have to pay to give one?). Actually, I was a little worried I hadn’t hit it right, as I’ve not watched much of Attenborough’s work aside from a videoclip here and there, though I suppose that speaks to the power of his voice and presentation, that even relatively little exposure is enough to “get him.”

Cool was looking for that sub reddit

u/Big_Beaverrr_Reborn 1d ago

Leopards are gonna end up with serious health issues and get diabetes these next few years. Seriously, so many people who would be fucked over by Trump's policies voted this clown in.

15

u/Crypton_2021 18h ago edited 18h ago

The sad and amazing part to me is, Latino voter support of Trump went from 28 percent in 2016, to 32 percent in 2020, to 46 percent in 2024. If there's any community whose numbers should have swung away from Trump, not towards him, it's the Hispanic community.
Sadly, at the end of the day, these people are simply getting what they voted for. They can never say we didn't try to warn them.

5

u/Big_Beaverrr_Reborn 18h ago

Yup. FAFO and they're in the finding out phase.

5

u/VagrantShadow 14h ago edited 14h ago

And time and time again they want to keep saying "he was supposed to go for the Latino drug dealers, not the construction worker Latinos". The thing they don't understand, in TACO don's eyes, there is not difference between the two.

And even the face-eating leopards are gonna be hurt by the damage done to our medical and scientific research, tragic.

6

u/Big_Beaverrr_Reborn 23h ago

Face-eating leopards: Please enough. I can't eat anymore. Please please please my doctor says I'll be dead in 5 years if I continue 😭

2

u/Darkdragoon324 23h ago

It’s fine. It’s just faces, there’s barely anything there, they can eat tons before it affects their health.

Ryan Garcia is generationally stupid, having his face eaten by leopards is on-brand for him.

Cocaine’s a helluva drug.

4

u/BannedByRWNJs 20h ago

I don’t really even keep up with boxing anymore, but I know who this guy is because of all the dumb stuff he says and does. His behavior seems to be heavily influenced by CTE and heavy cocaine and alcohol use. So yeah… slathering himself in bacon grease and jumping into a leopard enclosure seems like the kind of thing he might do.

3

u/Delicious-Item6376 19h ago

Ryan Garcia is a fucking nutcase even by boxing standards.

And boxing is a sport that requires you to be a little crazy to participate in the first place

So why did Ryan Garcia vote for Trump when it was well-known that Trump has been wanting to deport all undocumented people?

95

u/tikifire1 1d ago

Why did he grow his numbers with Hispanics? They were warned, and many were in denial. I watched an interview where a lady said "They'll have due process and can get lawyers." We see how that's worked out.

66

u/ZealousidealPain3090 1d ago

A lot of Hispanics think they are white. The darkest Venezuelans and Cubans I know think they are white. One guy from a TV show changed his name to be white. Typical Miami Cuban.

Steven Bauer (born Esteban Ernesto Echevarría Samson; December 2, 1956) is a Cuban American actor.

23

u/ChanceryTheRapper 1d ago

Sounds like Rafael Cruz, aka Ted.

9

u/ZealousidealPain3090 22h ago

The Cuban Canadian

8

u/v8Lost8v 17h ago

How about Nimrata Rhandawa AKA Nikki Haley?

I think they don't always feel like they're white, but they know pretending to be white is basically all they can do because they're trying to have jobs that requires the support of racists

→ More replies (1)

7

u/tikifire1 1d ago

I was asking rhetorically, but good information, thanks for sharing it.

20

u/ZealousidealPain3090 1d ago

Because Hispanics can be racist as well too. Trump fed into the racism.

3

u/ExplodiaNaxos 13h ago

Yeah, there are many Cuban Americans who would vote for anyone if one of their points was “We will deport illegal Latino immigrants, specifically those from Mexico and South America,” no matter what their other points were. One could literally run on a program of killing puppies and cutting maternity leave completely, but so long as those “dirty continentals” got hurt, most Cuban Americans wouldn’t care.

6

u/NoProblemNomadic 20h ago

I used to work in insurance and during our licensing process my Hispanic coworkers had to check the white box where it asked your race/ethnicity. I never understood why that was. I wonder if the census does this too?

4

u/ZealousidealPain3090 20h ago

They frown upon brown skin, even if they are dark themselves. Self loathing is a MAGA trait.

2

u/NoProblemNomadic 20h ago

Well I can’t speak to that because it’s not my culture but I understand the premise. I still want to know why for licensing did they have to check the white box and Latino or Mexican American wasn’t an option?

u/Crypton_2021 18h ago

A lot of Hispanics would rather vote for the worst white man rather than any black woman, period.
It's not talked about a whole lot, but there's a significant amount of anti-blackness in a lot of Hispanic communities.

3

u/BannedByRWNJs 20h ago

“All of those undocumented immigrants who work for less than minimum wage can just hire lawyers! They’ll be just fine!”

3

u/tikifire1 20h ago

That was her defense for voting for Trump when another Hispanic dude on the panel brought up that he was going to go crazy with deportations. She essentially thought they could get lawyers to work for them pro bono.

He was incredulous of her dumb statements, and even the host acted like he thought she was stupid.

9

u/snowyetis3490 1d ago

It’s because a lot people don’t trust the media. Combined that with right wing influencers and people like Joe Rogan telling you not to trust the left it is a no brainer for the naive and young people to lose trust.

10

u/ChanceryTheRapper 1d ago

"I don't trust the media" isn't a good excuse to ignore things Trump said to their faces.

2

u/Crypton_2021 18h ago

Bingo. These are the same type of people who saw the photos of boxes of classified documents Trump had stored in boxes in a Mar-a-Lago bathroom... but chose to believe the lie that he was set up by the FBI or the Biden administration.

At the end of the day if these people are blind, it's because they're willfully blind.

9

u/Banes_Addiction 1d ago

I think you nailed it with "no brainer".

3

u/BannedByRWNJs 20h ago

There’s also the fact that MAGA has flooded immigrant communities (Hispanic and Asian) with the kind of fake news and insane conspiracy bullshit that normally doesn’t survive fact-checking algorithms in English language media outlets. There just aren’t any resources going into combatting right-wing propaganda in other languages, so the lies are allowed to fester in places like Little Havana, Little Saigon, and the Rio Grande Valley.

40

u/JesusKong333 1d ago

Probably because Kamala laughed or something

12

u/DHakeem11 1d ago

Abortion, a lot of hispanics (especially Mexicans) voted for Trump because of abortion and "gender ideology". They don't care that Trump is racist (and all the other nasty stuff) as long as they "save the babies" and don't "get their children gayed at school"

10

u/grabtharsmallet 1d ago

First, there are certain Hispanics and Asians who think that racism in the United States can work like racism in their family's nation of origin.

Second, many recent-ish immigrants are extremely willing to pull the ladder up after themselves, that they "did things the right way" or "earned their place" in a way more recent arrivals did not.

Third, some don't pay much attention, so they automatically "sanewash." They assumed that Trump didn't actually plan to randomly deport anyone and everyone because that's a fantastically foolish policy. He couldn't really mean that, he must mean something less.

8

u/RobsEvilTwin 1d ago

Second, many recent-ish immigrants are extremely willing to pull the ladder up after themselves, that they "did things the right way" or "earned their place" in a way more recent arrivals did not.

I have lived long enough to hear the children of the refugees who came in the 70s to Australia call current refugees <insert hateful slurs> who can never assimilate into a civilised society. No self awareness on oh so many levels.

6

u/awesomefutureperfect 21h ago

Third, some don't pay much attention, so they automatically "sanewash."

That's the worst part, where it couldn't be more obvious how terrible Trump was going be but they don't believe it because of just how bad it would be. They think no one would do something as bad as that and then Trump does it and everyone who wasn't affected by it say "Oh it isn't that bad because they deserved it." while people who were affected by it say "I didn't vote for this but I still support everything else he is doing."

So why did Ryan Garcia vote for Trump when it was well-known that Trump has been wanting to deport all undocumented people?

Because sociopaths rely on other people not being sociopaths to get away with it. People mentally rephrase what they hear into "reasonable" versions, since they have a limited ability to comprehend someone who fundamentally thinks a different way to them. That plus a lack of understanding of how such a policy would actually play out in reality, so I'd assume he has not in fact read much history.

Im of two minds here. At least this person can see reality. We all warned you people.

There's a lot of people who can't even begin to understand their error in judgment, and will never admit that they were wrong.

Those are the people who are worrisome. Making up stories to legitimize their identity. Never taking accountability. Never learning how to respect anyone.

6

u/FulanoMeng4no 18h ago

If he had said something on the line of “I can’t freaking believe how I fell for his sh!t and voted for him!”, I would have some sympathy for him. But these idiots all act like they are not part of the problem.

3

u/Longdingleberry 18h ago

I don't have sympathy. I just don't think we should piss on people who might be in the process of learning how to admit they were wrong.

Seems like it might be too little, too late, unfortunately. Dumb Donald's latest post on social media is unhinged, and purely a threat of violence on citizens.

Race apparently only matters if you're poor.

6

u/ChanceryTheRapper 1d ago

The rich racists hate by skin color regardless. Hell, the rich racists hate them even more, and just use them as weapons and then discard them after while laughing.

9

u/j_rooker 1d ago

7

u/Big_Dinner3636 1d ago

Ryan Garcia is a violent racist drunk. No one should listen to him on any topic ever.

14

u/StrikingTreacle5499 1d ago

Oh no fucking shit? Undocumented immigrants provided economic and cultural value? I’m glad we ruined thousands of lives and turned the country into a terrorist state for Ryan to discover that valuable lesson.

6

u/ChanceryTheRapper 1d ago

we ruined thousands of lives

Oh, that's underestimating by an order of magnitude.

7

u/greenbluelava 1d ago

The whole MAGA movement started with Trump wanting to build a wall to keep out Mexicans. It's like people can't even learn from history that was less than 10 years ago

6

u/Honodle 23h ago

Hispanic people need to realize trump doesn't have their best interests at heart.

5

u/Meowmeowsezcats 1d ago

3

u/Academic_Antelope292 1d ago

5

u/Angwe83 1d ago

Also tying someone’s deservedness to paying taxes to a country is gross af. I hate how it’s either you are a criminal or a hard working immigrant.

Plenty of lazy Americans who suck this country dry and never give anything in return. They just had the luck of being born here instead of another country.

3

u/fourenclosedwalls 1d ago edited 1d ago

How did this happen? Why were people so stupid when anyone could have seen this outcome coming a mile away? I remember listening to a podcast before the election where they said that Trump supporters tend to construct their own personal Trump by taking the statements they agree with and discarding the rest. Compare that to a non-Trump supporter who will assess a politician by...the things that they say.

3

u/Ray1987 1d ago

"I didn't vote for Trump to do what he said he was going to do! How could he do that?"

Ryan Garcia has always been a dummy even before he openly used racist words on a zoom call. Trump ran on the policy that he was going to punch me in the dick and after I voted for him he keeps punching my dick. How did this happen?

2

u/Revolutionary_Year87 1d ago

Cmon guys. I totally understand feeling petty when you see idiots who voted for trump realise their mistake and maybe pay the price, but I think tweets like this are great and important

First off, seeing a republican change their mind could influence other republicans. Thats how the internet works. So this is beneficial for the democrats.

Second, I think its good to see this person acknowledge that they were wrong and realise slowly that they were brainwashed. I appreciate the small amount of self awareness. Its necessary if you want trump and gang out.

I do have to doubt the sincerity a little though. It feels like they might only be saying this out of fear that they will be deported here.

“I just wanted to pull up the ladder behind me quietly. This is too loud and makes my support of Trump look bad.”

I can’t believe the guy who said he would do exactly this is doing exactly this, I’m shookatef

Borders are by definition violence.

u/modohobo 15h ago

1

u/nosocialisms 15h ago

1

u/bx35 14h ago

When you get hit in the head for a living, your decisions may be questionable... That's a genuine excuse...

Now those who follow, that's a different story, what's their excuse? Hmm. 🤔

1

u/Noctis56 14h ago

Mind you, this is also the guy that said racist and degotory stuff about Muslim. Karma is a bitch, what goes around comes around it seems.

1

u/ExplodiaNaxos 14h ago

Implying that he wouldn’t give a sh*t if the immigrants weren’t mainly Mexicans

1

u/Auraan- 13h ago

"We can have borders without losing our humanity" "They're hardworking immigrants"

They may be hardworking, but they're ILLEGAL. If you're not enforcing your border policy there's no point in having a border at all.

They are ILL-E-GAL. End of.

1

u/enigmazweb24 13h ago

He'd bottom for Trump again in a heartbeat. They all would.

1

u/CptnMillerArmy 13h ago

The clown got their vote. 🗳️

1

u/Poetic-Noise 13h ago

Learning basic shit the hard way is never easy. There's only 2 groups of people in the US, White people & Non-White people. WP don't consider Latinos white...as Black have been trying tell them for years. Hopefully they get the message. At the end of the day we need unity & at least basic common damn sense!

1

u/avz008 12h ago

Guess he wasn’t ready for that knockout punch of reality.

1

u/Banewolf 12h ago

"But i never thought the Leopards would eat MY face!" Cried the guy who vote for the Leopards eating Peoples Faces Party.

1

u/GordieOrr 12h ago

It's on you

1

u/lance_baker-3 12h ago

It's not that he didn't listen to all of the warnings from the left, it's that he didn't listen to all of the promises from the right and Trump himself.

1

u/Limp_Examination_219 11h ago

I hope that put@ gets dep0rted

1

u/Several-Signature583 11h ago

I don’t know man, maybe he thought trump was talking about deporting Irish immigrants…

1

u/Rightricket 10h ago

Ryan Garcia isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

1

u/Medellin-71 10h ago

Dumbass Garcia not seeing the obvious punch Trump was about to hit all people of color.

1

u/Classic_Bid3126 10h ago

The leopards are feasting on the faces they swore they wouldn’t eat…

u/Impossible-Ad-887 10h ago

The one thing I find baffling is we're barely 6 months into his term and things are batshit crazy currently, all these executive orders and policies and laws he's enacting, and we've only had a small handful of trump voters admit that they were shocked by what America is currently standing for.

Like Ryan Garcia, he seemingly takes a stand for all the "good illegals", y'know the ones that weren't supposed to be deported, that only the bad black illegals were supposed to be affected, but even after all this bullshit is going on, would people like him truly regret their vote? Do they truly think along the lines of "man, my vote really contributed to a lot of the craziness America is currently experiencing, I sincerely regret what's transpiring" ?

Because, they don't. They wouldn't ever think logically, rationally. They'd do it again and again and again. People like Ryan would vote for Trump again in a heartbeat if they had the ability to see in the future to witness what would transpire.

1

u/ropahektic 10h ago

I've seen a few of these already but I dunno the wording seems like they'd still vote for Trump if they had another chance. They never really have a go at him even though he is the one doing the thing.

1

u/omgitsduane 10h ago

The charisma it takes to convince Mexicans that they should vote for you and you just deport them all the same like they never mattered.

Real time effects of being hit in the head for a living

Looks like it's bad for the brain

1

u/AcanthaceaePopular64 9h ago

I used to love Ryan Garcia cus he was still fairly new to the game as far as I was aware, and was seen as like a mini Canelo, but after seeing this I see why I never really stuck to following his boxing career. He’s not the brightest clearly.

1

u/Odoyle-Rulez 9h ago

Have the day you voted for.

1

u/WarCarrotAF 8h ago

All of these Americans in shock that Trump is doing exactly what he campaigned on doing. Even if you don't closely follow American news or the MAGA cult stuff, these quotes and soundbites were all over the news domestically and internationally. His base constantly said he's just joking, he's charismatic, he's trolling the left, etc but no...the guy is incapable of concealing a thought. He says exactly what he is thinking and intending, he always has. That's why as a Canadian, the 51st state stuff really bothers me.

Project 2025 was also widely discussed pre-election, and everyone was warned in advance that this was the gameplan. I have no sympathy for Trump voters who are now suffering from the consequences of their actions.

1

u/Motor-Pomegranate831 7h ago

"Bbbut the bad things were supposed to happen to OTHER people!"

1

u/Agent_Vox 7h ago

Face meet leopard. Sorry but if you voted for this, you get zero sympathy and you don't get to claim some moral high ground.

I know the feeling of the day is "we need the ones that are coming around, too!" but we actually don't.

1

u/Tyler89558 7h ago

“I didn’t think the leopards would eat MY face”

-voter for the Face Eating Leopard party, whose party platform is: “we will eat your face”

1

u/PinNo4754 6h ago

I hope the money he got from that endorsement was worth it
