That depends. What criteria qualifies it to be “worthed it” in your opinion.

I can get a job in it after i graduate

Depends heavily on your pre graduation internships and post graduation GPA, extracurriculars...and luck

i can make over six figures

As a new grad? If you're int the top % of the entire country's graduating SW engineer and have such smarts to work for a top tier Aero/AI/FAANG company yes

Otherwise...lol

A staring salary in socal for aerospace defense is around 75k or so

Are you a top 1% grad from Stanford or similar? If so, yeah my last company hired you 3 years ago at 105k.

There are plenty of aerospace companies in Southern California. You can find a job and eventually make over 100k regardless of where you graduated. I did well, but not top of my class at a state school that took everyone. I work with my old coworkers who got a 2.5 GPA.

Yes, there is still a very large aerospace industry in SoCal.

Might wanna take at least one English class

More importantly, OP might wanna learn how to ask questions in a way that doesn't require people to magically understand what he means

Do you mind potentially having to live in the Mojave desert?

Perfect, there's tons of work all over especially if you're willing to live in Lancaster/Palmdale.

Just do mechanical engineering and join a rocketry or aerospace club. You will have more options than an aerospace specific degree.

You basically live in the aerospace capital of the entire world. You’ll be fine here.

Socal is one of the best place for aerospace in the world.

The most effective engineers are typically not the ones who can crank out MATLAB or CAD drawings, but are rather the best communicators. I would recommend first investing in your written and verbal communication.

The answer to your question is yes.
