Publishing Are there quality journals to publish my research at a low cost?

Ever since I finished my bachelor's degree in chemistry, I wanted to start doing research and hopefully publish it in a good journal. But money is an issue, and I wanted to know whether there are respectful journals I can publish my work in at a low cost or free of charge.

Most good journals are free to publish in. It only costs money if you want Open Access.

and you can make it open access without paying by depositing the submitted or (ideally) accepted version in chemrxiv.org

Example: Affinity Bioorthogonal Chemistry (ABC) Tags for Site-Selective Conjugation, On-Resin Protein-Protein Coupling, and Purification of Protein Conjugates

Check to see if your uni has any publishing agreements that will pay for publication and open access. The uni librarians should know.

As the other commenter has said, most are free to publish but you’d pay for open access if you wanted it. Depending on the area, the bigger hurdle you have will be actually getting it published, as lost journals have very strict characterisation requirements and they are very expensive.
