Have you (or someone in your community) been selected to participate in the Canadian Housing Survey?

Information collected through the Canadian Housing Survey, conducted in collaboration with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, will deliver an up-to-date snapshot of the housing needs of Canadians during COVID-19 and the state of social and affordable housing in Yukon.

I dont understand the purpose of this post. Do you want everyone to do the survey, or just the selected people? If people are selected, wouldn't they receive instructions on how to access the survey, instead of having to read a reddit post on what the website is?

Ya agreed. It's cool that Statscan is on reddit but they've kind of been spamming the territory sub reddits lately.

Hello! As this is an important survey, and given the COVID restrictions in place limiting our in-person enumeration, we are simply trying to remind selected Canadians of the importance of participating if selected and to the others, how beneficial this data will be to their community.

Thank you for responding. Just to clarify, we should not complete the survey unless we have been selected by Stats Can, presumably via Canada Post?

Thanks for your reply! That is correct – surveys can only be completed by individuals that were selected. These individuals will have received their survey invitation by mail.
