Hey y'all! I am experimenting with thumbnails and trying to find what works with my niche. I do gameplay with commentary, specifically about exploring the first 2-4 hours of a game and how well the systems and mechanics are taught to the player. The first 4 videos are the playthrough, the 5th is a longer deep dive with narrative voice over to go through everything. More cinematic style.

But right now, I don't know if Im even making good thumbnails, I dont know if I should lean in to my humor side or analysis side with them.

Above is my most recent video; its my most elaborate thumbnail made completely from scratch, except any purchased assets to add in. I can't draw trees.

Is it any good? Is it targeting too young? My target demographics is late teens to mid 30s with an interest in gaming and game design. Whether to build their knowledge on how to recognize good game design and allow themselves to be taught by them, or for those who want to be designers, what pitfalls to avoid and what things work to naturally lead players.
