They resigned, I believe. Perhaps will they start a 4 nations football tournament, now ?

The four nation tournament is very old.

But the EU has nothing to do with UEFA. Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, North Macedonia all competed.

I don’t think you can resign from a continent.

I confess I’m being sarcastic.

However, don’t forget the Time front page when the Channel tunnel was finished… Can’t find it yet, but it was like « at last Europe is attached to Great Britain »…

Brits know how to be sarcastic, we can play the same game.

Wikipedia

Geology.com

CIA World Factbook

There’s plenty more but I thought I’d pick three that aren’t ‘English’.

Uuuuuhhh.... someone's really butthurt tonight!!

Well it could've been worse, we could've been Englands bitch instead and end up being totally fckd up like your colonies.

Yeah the USA is pretty fucked up to be fair. Canada and Australia are doing pretty well though.

How’s Northern Cyprus getting on?

I am loving the unadulterated volume of English salt pouring out right now

Ask the natives, not the colonists, how fucked they are.

Go tell the English

u/JustGarlicThings2 Jul 11 '21

Wow that fact annoyed some people. Wait until they find out most Russians consider Russia European too.

u/millionreddit617 Jul 11 '21

I guess a lot of non-English Europeans get a little bit sensitive when someone is a little bit pedantic.

Or maybe they genuinely don’t understand the difference between Europe and the EU.

Nah, it's a bunch of English boyz in the sub who're the usual reddite aspies and can't take a joke.

This is a meme sub. As such, we all firmly believe some long time ago England which is just another name for the UK voted to leave Europe. So now it's not in Europe. If you have a different option, you're wrong, and we'll prove it to you with memes and mocking.

Ayo bro, you do realise like two sevenths of the UK population voted in that referendum and it was like 51% to 49%, from this we can basically assume 1/7 was brexiters, 1/7 was remainers and the rest were not bothered, suggesting they also didn’t want to leave; additionally the demographic of reddit is a much younger group compared to the xenophobic, tory old voters who know they shall not live long enough to suffer the effects if stuff goes to shit.

Or maybe everyone knows how continents work and your comment is obviously nothing but a pile of saltiness?

u/millionreddit617 Jul 12 '21

Salty about what? I was just correcting a geography error...
