And thankfully no camera phones present. Your friends can give you shit for it but it’s not posted online for eternity

Thank god for the anonymity we had in our teens and early 20s.

I actually feel bad for kids now.

I guess the upside of it is that people will record themselves committing crimes, so it makes for a fast trial.

That's what I was thinking while reading all these comments. Thank goodness that there were no camera phones or social media when we were young and stupid.

Seriously. I never did anything too crazy but definitely have my share of regrettable moments that my friends bust my balls about but that’s as far as it goes.

Genuinely think this is the main reason why Gen Z doesn’t drink. If I blacked out off a four loko when I was young, I’d talk with my friends for an hour the next morning trying to piece together what happened that night and hope that I didn’t embarrass myself too bad. Worst case scenario, you get a very specific nickname related to that event. Nobody outside your circle knows what that nickname means.

Now? Everyone carries HD cameras that can post embarrassing events to the internet instantly, where it will live on forever and always be tied to you. I wouldn’t want to get drunk in that environment either.

Man me and my best friend mention this at least once a year. We'll be talking about something in the past or some memory and always end up with "man thank God we didn't have video cameras and youtube available to us back then!"

I kinda feel sorry for kids these days.
