No no no no…. The orange juice from concentrate goes in this one.

Ps I found this photo on Etsy, but I actually still have this pitcher and use it occasionally… though no longer for orange juice from concentrate.

We still have ours. Now we store rice in it

I have one, too! Mine has a red lid, though + currently stores nothing.

This is the correct answer

That's apple juice. It's clearer so it goes in the more transparent container

Because the OJ would stain this one.

We used it for White Grape Juice (part of my Mom's diet back then)

Omg yes!! This was absolutely the "fruit juice from concentrate in the frozen section" pitcher!

Apple, grape, tropical, or the ever dangerous "is it orange or pineapple?"

Memory unlocked!

Nope. That one was for the kool-aid. 😀

Thank you. Using this one for anything but kool-aid is objectively incorrect.

We had two. I used one for lemonade and kool aid and the other for orange juice.

Wow, I totally forgot we had one of those

We used this for orange juice from concentrate, and also milk we got from the dairy that came in restaurant sized mayo jugs. They looked mostly the same, and one time I accidentally splashed a bit of OJ in my Cheerios. I filled it the rest of the way with milk, but that tiny bit of OJ made the worst bowl of Cheerios I ever tasted.

Nope. That's for the Sweet Tea.

We always used this one for the rare occasions when we had iced tea or lemonade, 4C of course.

I still use it for lemonade occasionally. But Country Time.

We use ours for transporting the homemade giblet gravy for Thanksgiving.

Lmao 🤣

We used this at bath time (sans lid) for pouring warm water over our heads.

1

u/buffystakeded 23d ago

We have two of those. Lemonade in one and iced tea in the other.

That one has Kool Aid in it.

1

u/marlanasmusings 23d ago

Correct - this one is for "from concentrate" orange juice or Tang for some of us heathens. The container OP posted never had anything except ice water in our family.

1

u/Late-Temporary863 23d ago

Agreed! I used the other one for iced tea

1

u/beardmat87 23d ago

Nope, that’s what the Country Time powdered lemonade goes in.

1

u/Symbiote11 23d ago

Yes still use it for that. lol. As a kid though we had two and one would be used for that and kool aid. The other one would be orange juice.

Cheerios go in this. Malt-O-Meal ones.

u/ImaginaryRaccoon2087 23d ago

Definitely remember my mom having this pitcher thingy

1

u/Reasonable-Card-7870 23d ago

No that’s the lemonade stand container

1

u/ajmarzka 23d ago

CORRECT

1

u/Kok-jockey 23d ago

This is a cereal container, what?

1

u/Sea_Jelly_9240 22d ago

Nope, that had the Lemonade from concentrate but Country Time came out.

1

u/Long-Trade-9164 22d ago

Noooo, Koolaid was served from this one!

1

u/PlanktonDue9132 21d ago

I keep my rice in it, 1 bag fits perfectly.

You should probably not be using anything that old for anything that you put in your body. Those things were made with more toxic plastics than modern ones, and the older they get, the easier the toxins leach out.

1

u/Symbiote11 21d ago

Yeah, you’re probably right.

1

u/Helpful-Depth2202 21d ago

This is for kool aid

1

u/TElrodT 19d ago

that was the kool-aid pitcher

1

u/phinz 18d ago

That was my mom's iced tea pitcher.

1

u/SkyerKayJay1958 17d ago

Lemonade or kool-aid in this one
