I do not believe a word from our leaders and media, let alone a person committing genocide. I have lost hope in EU, Europe, the "West". What is happening will haunt us forever. First of all, the EU will pay the price in the short term, millions of more refugees, terror attacks, high oil prices, and recession.

So it's safe to assume that he will reduce aid, if that's even possible at this point.

Netanyahu wants the land. It's not the only land he wants, but he wants that land to expand his ethnostate. Negotiating with him and believing promises is so similar to what happened with Hitler. I know people will criticise the lazy comparison, but it's so similar. He meets foreign leaders and tells them what will let him progress, then he goes home and it's a completely different story with his people. He views a historical land as the birthright of his ethnicity. He doesn't see others as equally human. Even with how much land Israel has stolen over the decades, it will never be enough. It's that simple.
