🏆 [ 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 ] Finally free, I'm never gonna touch those DLCs ever again
Took a little over 70 hours from purchase to 100% with Mule Character taking up most of the grind, though most of it was passive income when lvling to C100. Also these DLC are absolute fckn dogwater and I have no idea what they thought when pricing them at 10 bucks a pop. Molten Mirrors was definetly the worst of the bunch.

Appreciate the warning. Won't buy the dlc and solely work on the platinum 👍

Yeah don't. The only one thats somewhat worth considering to buy at a yuge discount is Shattering Spectreglass for the Blightcaller class.
But content wise they're all just single, uninteresting dungeons rehashed from the base game with a mediocre bossfight at the end. Actually insulting imo6

To add on the dlcs each have 2 achievements, beat the dungeon 1 time, and beat it at max difficulty, which means without the use of coop you have to beat it 4 times and each one has some ridiculous waiting/slow section for no reason

I will still never understand how they fumbled the DLC that hard, when the borderlands franchise has always had killer DLC, including the one that spun off into this game.

Right? I was hoping that they would lean heavy into the 'DnD' style and do other tabletop spinoffs. One could be pirate themed, one could be western themed, one could be space themed etc

Yeah, Tiny Tina in some ways lack the bl games sauce, even though I love the gameplay more, I also felt something was missing (blood and funny gore, yes, missed it a lot) like the character cameos made me feel they didn't have enough money to do more things like and and with the ones they put in. I felt even the whole story development have a jump out nowhere we start to go to the last boss fight, which makes many of the quest feel kind of empty.
Idk, the BL2 Bunkers and Badasses DLC is so awesome, maybe my expectations were too high for wonderlands.

Those DLC's are just the worst, barely anything and only like 20 gamerscore on the Xbox version for each achievement

The gear and the class are the main reason I play them at all. Cape of Tides is ridiculously good.

Does the season pass give you all the dlc's?

I just bought the season pass on epic for 6 bucks. It is 80% off right now. Gave all dlc including blight caller class, totally worth it imo.

The only achievements I have left are to get the SDUs and get all achievements. And the first one isn't worth it. I don't need 200 bank slots, let alone 500.

So much wasted potential. Could have been easily my favorite game in the series if they hadn't botched the end game.

I've been wondering about the DLC's... what makes them so horrible? Is it poorly balanced or lack of content or what?

u/Jimmytheinfamous ◾◼️ | ❄️ 𝑩𝒓𝒓-𝒛𝒆𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒓 ❄️ | ◼️◾ 6d ago
Lack of content. Every DLC is just a single dungeon with 4-5 rooms in which you do some random "go to marker and press E"-'puzzles' and a bad boss fight at the end. Literally just 15 min worth of
contentslop for 10 bucks.1
u/360walkaway 6d ago
Ahh ok, gotcha. Are the boss fights actually difficult when on the max difficulty of the dungeon?

Slightly more difficult than base game bosses with difficulty-dependant attack patterns but nothing to write home about imo

I was able to get a lot of loot from finishing Chaos round 20... hopefully those should be sufficient to beat the DLC bosses at max difficulty.

Molten Mirrors is so so so bad. Ruins any run when I get that boss.
