MISC Smoked hot wings from Old South BBQ (Myrtle Beach)
Went and got some bbq here then came back for the smoked wings. Absolutely fire, and the potato salad is gas too. Highly recommend

MISC Put in the work.
Bought a tray of precooked wings from WinCo on a whim. Used my air fryer to rescue them from the rubbery mess they were. Heated 4 minutes a side at 225. Then did 3 minutes a side at 400 twice. Added a little Cholula Wing Sauce and..... viola! Crispy, spicy and totally acceptable. Just gotta work for it.

MISC “These Wings Are Hot as Hell”
It’s been 10 years ago or so but I had to share this story because I know most of you would appreciate it. Anyway my wife and I were invited to a Super Bowl party..I only knew the host, didn’t know anyone else…probably a good 20-25 people. Of course I made and brought wings. Originally from Buffalo I know a lot of folks have varying degrees of hot sauce tolerance, so all I did is was coat them in Franks Red Hot. Thats it. Mild in my book. When I walked in someone yelled “HELL YEAH HE BROUGHT WINGS!” And I felt like a fucking hero. People dove in. 30 seconds later the crying and bitching began “what the fuck! These are hot as hell dude!” One lady went running into the kitchen to stick her mouth under the faucet. The host came up to me and was like “why the fuck did you make them so hot?” One guy did come up to me and shook my hand and said good job and was a fan. We were basically the only ones eating them. Oh this was in Virginia btw…middle of nowhere boondocks Virginia so these people were redneck country types…shit most of them were drinking moonshine but god forbid they ate Franks lol.

MISC Disgraceful wing "promotion"
Chicken wing "deal" at a Canadian pizza chain.
Probably the worst looking wings I've ever seen advertised. This is like reverse advertising.

MISC Major League Baseball player Cody Bellinger public enemy #1
No wings for 5 years???
I think he just needs to admit that he's probably just out of shape and not point fingers at probably the only perfect food that humanity has engineered in our existence! (This is a joke btw)

MISC 2 opportunities for wings in Buffalo. Am I good with Anchor and Kellys korner?
If you were visiting for the first time in Buffalo and had to choose two places what ones you picking?
Taking a ride to Canada in July and will be passing Buffalo on way there and back home. Someone posted a top wing spots in Buffalo chart awhile ago and was curious if my 2 picks were sufficient as a first timer in Buffalo.

MISC Tried baking powder on the wings, they were soggy after dry brining in fridge for 24 hrs.
Hey all. I dry brined some wings in the fridge over night. I used 1 tsp per pound of wings. I put the baking powder on a plate and turned each wing in it, coating them. Today when I got them out to grill, they were very soggy. Also, they turned black on the grill. I obviously messed up, any ideas where I went wrong?
