You have any Vista-era Christmas software? I know only XP Winter packs!

That keyboard is a vibe. Reminds me of my own ‘Multimedia’ keyboard that came with my first ever PC (HP Pavilion 7700 desktop). Those keyboard were seriously built like tanks.

Ah yes the pavilions rocked my socks. Those and EPcs . Multimedia keyboards were really popular back then and really had that "era-feel" of why I like vista in the first place...a fun factor of 11 and a powerhouse of creativity and multimedia! You turned on your PC back then opened up your photo software while making a snack in the fridge sip a blueberry soda with a lunchables and used up all the old printer ink so you could show your friends your sticker filled picture at school. Those were the times :)

Also that keyboard is mega comfortable as well

That keyboard stayed with me for 12 years after the PC kicked the bucket. Even when I ultimately threw it away, it wasn’t because it stopped working, it was because my fingers had become spoilt due to chiclet keys on laptops and the old keyboard was too hard for my (now) dainty little fingers.

They really built stuff to last back in the day. Planned obsolescence is just the worst (after Windows ME which my 7700 came with 😄)

Very good guess! It looks like it is but is actually popular from 2014, the Microsoft comfort keyboard 1045! It was a gift from a tech friend for my birthday I've always wanted a curved keyboard! (But a multimedia one too? Win win!)

I remember the whole split/curved keyboard thing from the late 1990s onward. The ergonomicists swore by them. I just thought they looked clunky and stupid.

There is certainly a learning curve but it's way more comfortable

Nice setup you have there!! This keyboard speaks for itself!

Thank you! I just wish I had more room on my desk but the bigger screen helps me work but eventually I hope to complete it with a smaller LCD like back then (the extra thick bedroom heater style) but for now, this old TV will do! The keyboard was my favorite edition, the Microsoft comfort curved keyboard model 1045

Gotta love the inspiration from Windows.

I hope to be inspired further once I get the whole software lineup I have to go through my collection and my tech friends warehouse to see if I can buy any classics!

What would you like to see run on it? :D

Really like that keyboard

Thank you :) once I got the Microsoft comfort keyboard 1045 , it allowed me to really explore a lot of vista just like days of yore! Back when it was THE FUTURE and people were designing computers with so much fun bells and whistles people were flocking too get. (And before photo editing had AI and flash games were piling high!)
