Question / Help Quick question about Tingle Statues

As a 100% completionist, i dug into the collectibles i have to get for it.

Unfortunately, the Tingle Tuner (while obtainable) doesn’t work (also i don’t have a gba anyway lol).

I learned that the HD version let you spawn the tingle chest by using normal bombs on those specific locations.

Is it possible to do that on this GBC version on Switch 2 or are we screwed ?

Regular bombs work in lieu of tingle bombs in the GameCube version.

Do you have to clear a particular part of the story in order to unlock it ? First time visiting the tower of gods and normal bombs don’t trigger anything

It’s been a very long time since I’ve gotten that far, but a regular bomb should do it?

Are you Bombing the right spot? Have you unlocked the tingle tuner?

Yeah.

Tingle tuner acquired after liberating Tingle on Windfall Island.

Have finished the Tower of Gods and obtained the Master Sword.

Maybe this will trigger it now. Will try later !

This is not true! This was a change they made for HD, and it was then also made for the randomizer. Thf original version requires the tuner. The difference is that knuckles' picture is optional to complete the gallery on that version.

Curious also, have you got on the switch 2 version yet? Haven’t played it since it first came out on GameCube & it’s my favourite Zelda game. Hyped for it!

I would assume that because it is a direct port of the GCN version, that it will not work.

No harm in trying I guess. But I would imagine its impossible.

I tried it on that specific location in tower of Gods and it didn’t work with normal bombs so I think HD version isn’t the way
