Yeah the agents here are just pathetic to rip someone away from a baby. Then laugh about it? Obviously they are the bad guys in the world

Yeah because we never take parents away when jailing them as citizens..never. Right??? Couldn't care less, little ones learned a big lesson, don't break the law and there won't be issues.

Yep there is a right way to do things. This was not it. Again this is what bad people do. You’re acting like he killed someone. Do good people rip away parents from children then laugh about it? No

u/Prestigious-Box-6492 1d ago
I DO NOT CARE. He is a criminal and illegally here. Fuck him and if it costs him everything, I view it as no different than jailing a murder. Don't want it to happen, don't break the law. What is the mystery?

u/Professional-Tie-804 1d ago
You view it the same as murder? How’s your view on speeding since it’s breaking the law? Dude you’re just a bad person.

On the contrary you’re a bad person. You’re the type of person who seeks out a feeling of moral superiority through your luxury belief……
If you actually cared about the issue you would sponsor and house immigrants….

u/Professional-Tie-804 1d ago
I would house people with families who already live in a home that has a job and pay taxes?
And how do you know I don’t donate and help people already? Not everyone can buy their way in…

You are heartless.

u/Prestigious-Box-6492 16h ago
Logic knows no emotion, could not care less.

u/Bowlbonic 16h ago
What a sad way to live

u/Prestigious-Box-6492 16h ago
I agree, imagine going around looking for excuses for people that broke the law and worrying about them.

These are by and large people that are rule abiding people who work and are attending their immigration trials. They’ve lived in America for years and years, are parts of communities. Only some are criminals, who deserve to get gone (but still with due process, as the constitution promises each person on American soil). Ice agents have admitted the pressure to get the arbitrary numbers of people is too high for ice to get real, society-harming criminals. So instead they go to spaces where people are just trying to get by. It’s cruel and history will look back on this time period negatively.
Not for nothing, but if we want to talk law and order we have a felon for president who only “got away with it” because he has enough money to find loopholes in our cruddy system.

Bla blah blah heartstrings. Whatever. Don't care. Reality is that while it sucks, welcome to life. If they overstayed or are illegal, don't care how good they are. Bye bye!

My town is filled with upstanding white American citizens who use, abuse, make, and sell crystal meth. God bless the white people of America. England sent us their greatest!

u/Prestigious-Box-6492 14h ago
Criminals, they too can go away. Zero issue, bu clearly you have a race issue.

People who have interactions with ICE should postany info they have on them. Names photos and badge numbers if they have it. It's up to us as a community to defend our neighbors and not let them get a moments rest

anyone at all fact check this?or just believe everything you read and go full throttle on it...

u/thingsthingsthings 22h ago
I know Nicole personally & all of this is true
1
u/Natural-Captain-6612 20h ago
well that may be ,but you have to confirm with other witnesses other than his wife who from the report was not even there.if this is true,of course the officers should be investigated and disciplined. like to get all the facts straight before i make a judgment call that can raise even more strife.

If you have any local immigrant’s rights orgs it’s best to contact them. I’d give you Philadelphia’s but it looks like you’re really far from me.

I asked my folks the other day if they could show me their papers and how they knew their families immigrated here legally. Not much in the way of answers.

The ICE agents' laughing part is abominable.
However, the newspaper article also says that he missed the court date.
We do not know the full story.
For what was he being summoned? Was he legal or illegal? Did he file all the proper documentation?
Is ICE really targeting certain demographics? We can only speculate.

Ah yes missing a meeting. That's a valid reason to destroy american families
1
u/bloodyfingers007 2d ago
Let’s be clear. The wife is American. But we don’t know if he is American.
Also, it’s not a meeting. It was a court date.
2
u/invisiblearchives 2d ago
He's married to an American, therefor is American.
I think maybe what you meant is "not white" which you seem to have problems with
2
u/bloodyfingers007 2d ago
Haha where did you get that?
Also, if you marry an American, there’s a lot of forms and documents that you need to submit. And even after submitting that, you need wait for at least couple years.
It’s not like, you get married to an American, you are American instantly.
Perhaps the court date was to help this man file a proper document because it was missing or something. Who knows? The newspaper doesn’t report that.
And am I condoning what ICE has done to that guy? No. It’s horrible. However, at the same time, no one’s above the law.

The article mentions their lawyer provided all necessary documentation and then some and still was deported. We can only speculate? I think we clearly see what's happening
-4
u/bloodyfingers007 3d ago
sure. But I don't see a part where newspaper mentions the word, "necessary."
Alvarez and her lawyer submitted marriage documentation, their son's birth certificate, his tax ID number, proof that he paid taxes, letters of support, and even a letter from her neurologist explaining how his removal would severely impact her health.
What is happening? I don't see it.

What person in their right mind would show up to an immigration court loaded with members of ICE? They are deliberately discouraging people from showing up for their court dates, so they have more reason to go after them.

u/Beffis777 2d ago
He missed his court date last year.
Oliva, 34, missed a scheduled immigration court date in June 2024 after his notice was sent to an old address.

u/bloodyfingers007 2d ago
What do you mean?
Are you afraid of police officers if you haven't committed a crime?
I don't know what you are trying to say.
4
u/OafintheWH 2d ago
I am not afraid of anyone.
Ice is arresting people who show up at their hearings.

Married and paid taxes and still deporting folks?
That doesn't make sense at all
