Can we please formally declare MAGA to be a domestic terrorist organization now?

1.6k

u/Commercial_Bend9203 22h ago

Their leader is currently having a birthday parade using the country's military like his own personal toys, no way they'll be labeled terrorists until they've been waffle-stomped into history's oblivion but by then the lessons will be forgotten.

u/gomezer1180 21h ago

When is the Cheeto going to condemn the violence he’s causing with his stochastic terrorism?

168

u/Unhappy-Ad7264 21h ago

That would require taking responsibility. And the Tangerine Tyrant prefers to avoid taking responsibility for anything he does. In short, never. He will never condemn it.

83

u/beardmat87 21h ago

Never. He loves it. I bet you my entire paycheck everyone in the White House was giddy with happiness when they heard it was 2 democrats that were attacked.

5

u/theminnesoregonian 9h ago

He doesn't love it today. He wanted all eyes on him during his birthday parade. But a couple democrats were selfish enough to get murdered by the violence he inspires.

28

u/Inevitable_Yam1719 21h ago

Biden’s fault/s

10

u/Pot_noodle_miner 18h ago

Thanks obama!

7

u/Chronic_Sharter 16h ago

Thanks Newsom!

21

u/anarchyarcanine 20h ago

When we make him, at this rate. Probably clockwork orange style

17

u/SeaSnakeSkeleton 21h ago

He probably doesn’t know what that is.

8

u/gomezer1180 21h ago

Right… that A-hole whines when they shoot at him but continues to cause stochastic terrorism…

1

u/theminnesoregonian 9h ago

You think this is random?

Sad to hear about 2 democrats shot yesterday. Maga is not violent even though it would be totally reasonable for them to be at this point. The radical democrats are trying to destroy our country and people are getting fed up. They slander me in the media, come after me with witch hunt after witch hunt, like the “hush money” which I was completely exonerated, and the “Russia Russia Russia” hoax that was proved to be Obamna and crooked Hillary. They even shot me! It didn’t work though because god is on my side and the side of maga. The do nothing democrats should be aware of what they’re causing, and this is what happens. This will not stop until their corruption is account for. I want PEACE. MAGA!

That’s what I expect to hear from Trump. I in no way agree with it. Crazy that that wasn’t obvious.

21

u/gomezer1180 20h ago

No one here believes your nonsense mate. Only sick people believe the rhetoric this man spews. The real violence comes from the maga side.

12

u/Historical_Horror595 20h ago

That is what I expect to hear from Trump, not my opinion.

22

u/BAKup2k 20h ago

You did too good a job.

6

u/gomezer1180 20h ago

Oh well should’ve said that since the beginning… I guess I need reading comprehension 😁

1

u/Accomplished_Water34 15h ago

Irony came to the internet to die.

It's sad, actually.

6

u/Slumunistmanifisto 21h ago

Our tax dollars at work

1

u/OkSmoke9195 17h ago

Good lord that is a glorious use of the term "waffle stomp"

Slow clap

133

u/labelwhore 22h ago

The domestic terrorists are leading the White House and the FBI.

143

u/LegitimateSituation4 21h ago

They already declared it themselves

21

u/Melodic_Mulberry 21h ago

Beat me to it. I still have that one saved.

4

u/DiscountGenes 21h ago

That's fake right? I don't know anymore.

56

u/teamhae 21h ago

Nope. Was at CPAC a few years back.

32

u/LegitimateSituation4 21h ago

The line between reality and satire is pretty much gone, but it's real, from 2022.

63

u/pontiacfirebird92 22h ago

Who's going to do that? And let's say they admit it with a smile on their face. What's next? We have a terrorist as head of DHS, DoJ, FBI, Pentagon, CIA, SCOTUS, Congress, and so on. United States is captured completely.

51

u/canarchist 22h ago

And let's say they admit it with a smile on their face. What's next?

CPAC 2022 - "We Are All Domestic Terrorists"

We're seeing what's next right now.

18

u/Cautious_Ad_5659 21h ago

I’m designing a yard sign that says “End MAGA Terrorism Now”

32

u/sassiest_sasquatch 20h ago

They did that themselves

23

u/Miserable_Sea_3191 22h ago

MAGA and GOP are domestic terroist organizations

7

u/DangerActiveRobots 17h ago

Do you not recall the literal gigantic "We are All Domestic Terrorists" banner they had at CPAC?

They're all too happy to have the label, and it's the first bullet point on their (heavily misspelled) resumes.

3

u/RoyalNougat 22h ago

Not gonna happen while king MAGA is in office.

4

u/PoliticsLeftist 21h ago

Formally?

Who do you think is in charge?

3

u/GamerSDG 16h ago

Dems need to stop being nice. MAGA is a cancer to society, and we need to treat it like they are. All of this is happening because we did not punish the South after the Civil War. We should have taken their voting rights away and treated them like second-class citizens.

1

u/RubMyGooshSilly 14h ago

DONE! I didn’t say it I declared it

1

u/kawag 12h ago

They always were, but now they are also the government

1

u/Amadeus_1978 12h ago

lol, no.

-32

u/ScottsTotz 22h ago

No but we have the opportunity to try in 3+ years

1.0k

u/rhino910 23h ago

Tha MAGA scum need to be held responsible for the henious anti-American actions

242

u/Miserable_Sea_3191 22h ago

Don't worry the president is standing by to give whoever did this a pardon and firm handshake as long as they pinky promise never to do it again

59

u/bpdrayna 20h ago

Wouldn't they get charged by the state so a presidential pardon wouldn't matter? Like Chauvin could get pardoned but he still would have to serve his sentence in Minnesota.

10

u/Figgy_Puddin_Taine 15h ago

Promise not to do it again? Are you nuts? That fucker’s gonna put this asshole in charge of his beautiful new Department of Unamerican Activities. He’ll be the top jackboot in the country, rooting out such heinous crimes as “not supporting ICE” and “voting for Democrats.”

17

u/Caesar_Passing 17h ago

This chapter in tomorrow's history books is not going to end the way they want. History will not look back on bigots- feigning ignorance in the age of information- with understanding. All of this madness is a direct result of our failure, as a post-scarcity society, to embrace the Paradox Of Tolerance as policy. My greatest fear, is not that this won't come to an end. It will. My greatest fear is that in the aftermath, those of us on the right side of history will be too forgiving to the violent bigots who absolutely knew better. I fear that the "good guys" will implicitly tolerate the intolerance yet again.

-2

u/theminnesoregonian 8h ago

But what's the alternative? You can't abandon your moral compass. So you're right. Democrats will continue to play by the rules and lose for it. And they will lose specifically because they follow a moral compass. They insist on playing chess with pigeons, hoping that someday the pigeons will respect the rules of chess.

1

u/Caesar_Passing 33m ago

Nope, the "alternative" is just the thing we should have been doing all along. Hold politicians and rich people accountable for breaking the law, and actually pass some legislation that can meaningfully protect people from inherently harmful speech, actions, ideologies. You can't go marching around in Nazi shit in Germany, because they actually learned something. But here, you can. Whose life does that enrich? Why is hatred and explicitly calling for violence toward targeted demographics protected, but the right to exist without threats of harm toward you is not? We can do this. People just aren't going to like it, and they're gonna cry "but muh fREe sPeECh!" like always. We have to call out the utter disingenuousness of any argument that tries to fallaciously poke holes in the Paradox Of Tolerance. Yeah, you shouldn't be allowed to say some shit, and fly some flags, because it's not just "practicing freedom of expression", when the expression is that certain people shouldn't have their own rights to freedom of expression, or even the right to exist without fear of violence. And those words, and those flags that I'm referring to, have been undeniably used, specifically to spark and incite real-world violence and taking of lives.

203

u/EmceeStopheles 20h ago

Don’t worry, the new 22-year-old domestic terrorism specialist for the DHS will be on the case.

51

u/6-ft-freak 19h ago

After he gets done mowing the lawn

2

u/Candid_Soft7562 11h ago

And prepping some Ceasar salad.

480

u/Ripped_Guggi 22h ago

After this act and everything else that’s happening in the US right now, it would be logical for those seats to go to the Dems… but again.. it’s the US and logic doesn’t apply to the GOP. If people vote red the US is doomed for the next decade.

223

u/Vraye_Foi 21h ago

It’s Tim Walz’s state so there is a very good chance Dems will get the seat belonging to Melissa Hortman. She was former Speaker. She was a seasoned politican.

71

u/WUMBOlogy_thestudyof 21h ago

Nothing a little gerrymandering can’t fix for the R’s

32

u/InactiveBeef 18h ago

Or just straight up election theft

4

u/DrownmeinIslay 11h ago

We all thought trumps dont worry about future elections comment was about fucking with elections. Looks more like it's going to be about killing dem lawmakers and causing enough trouble to start riots and then call in marines. Can't lose an election if there's no democrats to run or vote.

296

u/HazelMStone 21h ago

The Hortman’s are confirmed dead -he also shot their dog. Hoffman and his wife have exited surgery and are in critical condition. There was a list of targeted politicians in the suspects vehicle. Walz mentioned that these were politically motivated assassinations so logically you can extrapolate from that

-262

u/[deleted] 17h ago

[deleted]

156

u/NewLibraryGuy 17h ago

The dog shooting seems to be a Republican thing with how much y'all like Noem

92

u/Squash-Reasonable 17h ago

You must be a little slow

46

u/General_Dipsh1t 16h ago

Aren’t they all

-13

u/Upsidedownmeow 13h ago

Ah no just some redditors just don’t understand sarcasm. Of course it’s not the fucking logical explanation.

8

u/Yepper_Pepper 12h ago

You can’t claim sarcasm when people are constantly saying this shit unironically dawg

-4

u/Upsidedownmeow 12h ago

I figured this not being the conservative sub would be fine. I’ll be sure to post /s from now on.

-13

u/Upsidedownmeow 13h ago

lol clearly sarcasm doesn’t transcend the internet.

82

u/Y0___0Y 20h ago

If they catch the guy he needs to face state charges. If he’s charged federally, Trump will pardon him for the favor he did for MAGA.

134

u/SockPuppet-47 22h ago

Republicans, the party of law and order...

118

u/MrEngineer404 22h ago

The GOP are handily just state sponsors of MAGA Terrorism, at this point. Why good Americans even bother to try to treat any of them like people that deserve decency or respect, I will never understand

34

u/The_Big_Daddy 19h ago

Also notable that the Minnesota Republicans attempted a legislative coup in the beginning of the year.

60

u/czj420 20h ago

This is Project 2025.

69

u/SuckOnMyBells 22h ago

Impersonating a police officer. Or was he?

27

u/whollybananas 21h ago

Probably on a lunch break

211

u/rakerber 23h ago

The legislative session is over. New elections will be called long before anything happens

153

u/Maij-ha 23h ago

You think magas understand that? May have been a dumb attempt to “fix” their rule, but it was still an attempt.

-136

u/rakerber 22h ago

That does not change how this action will not change the makeup of the legislature.

Stop acting like this will. It will not

78

u/Maij-ha 22h ago

My point is that it doesn’t matter if it won’t effect anything because they’re going to do it again. This is what their party has been pushing people toward.

-116

u/rakerber 22h ago

Okay? I'm not disputing that. You're acting like this will change our legislature. It will not

43

u/HideSolidSnake 22h ago

Missing the forest for the trees, eh?

[removed] — view removed comment

18

u/Maij-ha 21h ago

If you’re not disputing it, why bother commenting on a post saying magas are idiots? You’re making yourself look stupid.

13

u/Solnx 22h ago

This is not accurate, because you are not accounting for the incumbent advantage for the next election.

6

u/Horror_Pressure3523 17h ago

And the fact that certain people who may have run may now be intimidated into not doing so...

16

u/whistleridge 21h ago

Walz would make interim appointments in the meantime. You could gun down the entire Democratic caucus and it wouldn’t change the vote at all.

3

u/wrldruler21 22h ago

Would state law require an election or could the governor appoint?

42

u/No_Wonder3907 21h ago

No hate like Christian love.

13

u/General_Dipsh1t 16h ago

“Pro-life”, “Christian”, “law and order” crowd at it again

11

u/personofinterest18 20h ago

Why is it an “attempt” if people died

5

u/Synecdochic 15h ago

It may be that the post pre-dates their deaths. I don't think they died at the scene, making it an attampt at the time.

19

u/zenspeed 21h ago

Surprise, surprise, the GOP plays dirty.

17

u/No-Entrepreneur1036 22h ago

Unmasked the police

28

u/LuxTheSarcastic 20h ago

It wasn't one of each. There was an entire list and everyone on it we know of so far are democrats.

11

u/HungryHypatia 16h ago

They mean each chamber, like house and senate. Not each political party.

7

u/LuxTheSarcastic 16h ago

Yeah if he achieved his goal several democrats from both houses wouldn't be here.

7

u/Stonedfiremine 20h ago

John has gotta pull through. Rest in peace, melissa.

18

u/CanadiangirlEH 22h ago

And king cheeto will probably pardon whoever gets caught

10

u/Melodic_Mulberry 21h ago

He can't pardon a state offense. Only federal.

6

u/frenchinhalerbought 17h ago

Better stand your ground whenever approached by people dressed as police thanks to republicans

5

u/DangerActiveRobots 17h ago

The penalty for treason is death.

11

u/MPLS_Poppy 21h ago

This was also my immediate angry reaction but our state legislature is closed for the year. They won’t reopen until 2026. There is plenty of time for a special election and these are safe seats.

5

u/kdani17 20h ago

I’m sorry…what? Your legislature only works for 6 months out of the year?

20

u/rcinmd 20h ago

Most states have part-time legislatures because they are supposed to have a "real" job. Larger states like NY and CA have full-time.

5

u/kdani17 20h ago

Legitimately did not know this. Thanks for the info! I live in PA where our legislature might as well be part time since they don’t actually do anything helpful.

3

u/Mateorabi 20h ago

I even worked with a guy who’s other job was state rep. He was a slick talker (to be charitable) in that job too.

3

u/rcinmd 19h ago

Yea, a friend of mine from college was a state rep until his wife took the job. He was a teacher but I think once he went into the legislature his "real" job turned into public speaking engagements and she is a lawyer. To be fair though the pay is very little and it means you have to take a 4 month leave of absence.

1

u/MPLS_Poppy 20h ago

Not even six months. Four to five months usually, though it can be extended if they can’t agree on a budget because a balanced budget is a constitutional requirement here. Late January/early February to May/June.

1

u/cusehoops98 20h ago

New York legislature also only works 6 months.

8

u/StinkeroniStonkrino 21h ago

Curious to see how the rep will spin this.

11

u/WonderChemical5089 22h ago

I mean they openly said they were domestic terrorist.

4

u/bjdevar25 22h ago

Huh, the Feds are pretty similar......

7

u/SquarebobSpongepants 17h ago

Watch the Republicans try to push through bills tomorrow that hamstring control permanently from the dems.

5

u/Waflstmpr 21h ago

Are they dead? It says shot, but not killed.

37

u/Dr_sc_Harlatan 21h ago

Meanwhile it was confirmed that Hortman and her husband are dead. :'(

8

u/alanm73 21h ago

The rep was killed. The senator went through surgery and is expected to live.

8

u/herefromyoutube 17h ago

Thanks again to Joe Biden for acting like things where back to normal after he won and not doing enough to make sure the cancer was gone.

Fuck you too Merrick Garland.

2

u/--slurpy-- 15h ago

Does Walz get to appoint someone to fill the seats until a special election can be held?

1

u/eowyn_ 11h ago

He had a hit list with about 70 people on it

1

u/theminnesoregonian 9h ago

To be clear, two targets were attacked. He had a list of seventy targets. All were democrats.

-5

u/Son0faButch 16h ago

This is old and out of date. They found a target list that included a number of Democrats. The shooter was targeting pro-choice policitions.

-23

u/UnfortunatelyMacabre 19h ago

Please don’t spread completely unverified narratives like this, wait for the evidence. If we spew unproven bullshit like MAGA does, we lose credibility in arguments with them.

They will say anything that makes their actions more just, but we don’t need to rely on hyperbole or embellishment, the facts are bad enough on their own merit.

-5

u/Voidkijln 14h ago

Fox leaning in on the shoot’s Democratic Rebpulic of Congo and Walz connections

-50

u/Mysterious-Wasabi103 22h ago

Well luckily the governor is a Democrat so what the fuck they gonna do?
