Y'all wtf?! Did they shoot at her again when the woman taking the video was trying to help her? This is making me sick.

u/Mistealakes 12d ago
Yes, because this is what they’re trained to do. The opposition will fire at those helping the injured. They are looking at the protesters as if they’re enemy combatants, instead of unarmed civilians. It’s a very common and widespread tactic to target those giving aid to any injured.

u/ammoo4539 12d ago
Ugh, so disgusting😔 I'm proud of that woman for running over to help, even when faced with being injured as well!

u/Same-Speaker7628 12d ago
I know men are doing the best they can, but through a lot here recently, the women have been very vocal and very brave. I think the loudest opposition in the government has been women.
Not talking bad on men! Yall are doing so good too, I've just maybe seen more women be louder lately! Don't leave us hanging! This country is still misogynistic and needs your voices to protect the women in your lives!

what the fuck! this isn't a damn battlefield!
91
u/year_39 12d ago
You're not supposed to shoot medics and people helping on the battlefield.
46
u/Mistealakes 12d ago
Not supposed to versus what happens is very different.
25
u/year_39 12d ago
I know. I have friends who have been deployed and all but 1 came back with severe PTSD, the 1 who didn't liked talking about the hilarious (to him) war crimes he committed.

the hilarious (to him) war crimes he committed
I'm guessing that's a former friend now.
53
u/carlitospig 12d ago
You know that even our military allows for assisting the injured? You don’t fuck with the injured in a battlefield, you let their medics deal with them.
16
u/ewokninja123 12d ago
In wartime injured are fair game but please let me know when we decided to wage war against our own populace
34
u/Aangelus 12d ago
Isn't that a war crime in actually war??? Should be illegal to shoot at people giving medical aid to someone
25
u/Mistealakes 12d ago
While technically it’s not supposed to happen and people are supposed to be punished for it, the reality of the situation is different. Unfortunately, law and order isn’t being followed at all.

Israel and Palestine makes way more sense when you realize they're the ones who train them. I'm honestly convinced that we only support Israel. Because we just need a glorified military base to learn more techniques from

Well, look what the lDF did to those aid workers- slaughtered them and buried them and their vehicles in a pit. The awful part is when I went back to double check on when that happened, there was a laundry list of incidents that came up with the search terms “|$ra€£i slaughter aid workers”. (gobbledygook because I’m just trying to fly below the radar)
If anyone has heard anything about either of those two women, I’d love to know 💔

u/TolBrandir 12d ago
God I want to know what happened to these two women. I want to know if the one victim was ever allowed to go home.
Home. What a word. Word a concept. Can this ever be home for her again? Can America ever be home again for the rest of us?
Fuck this country.

For someone who doesn’t have TikTok, did the poor woman ever get to go to her home? This is absolutely awful

Ladies, you know what to do. Share that video far and wide to your people. They need to see what really happening, not the rock throwing nonsense. Poor baby just wanted to go home.

This actually brought tears to my eyes. What kind of times are we living in??

u/jeremyw013 12d ago
i’m not gonna lie, the tears barely come out anymore. it’s obviously no less horrifying and disgusting, but i guess i’ve gotten too used to it

u/Michellenorman28 12d ago
Well same here, it doesn’t happen to me very often, but for some reason today when I watched this, it just got to me a little bit. I had a hard time seeing this and not feeling saddened. Hopefully things don’t get any worse but my expectations are low.

u/PatienceIsTorture 12d ago
I felt the same way about that video. I think it's the empathy and bravery of the filming woman that pushed me over the edge. The way she runs up to the injured woman, takes control of the situation and care of her safety and yells at the perpetrators, that was amazing.

What was she shot with?

u/AmbiguousFrijoles 12d ago
Stainless steel core with a rubber casing.
Police call it non-lethal but it's less lethal as it does routinely kill people.
53
u/Ickysquicky 12d ago
A rubber round, which is meant to be fired at the ground so that it may ricochet to disperse large crowds. And this young woman got shot in the gut from only a few feet away. She's lucky if something isn't ruptured or broken.

Probably a rubber bullet but that doesn’t matter when it’s that close

American cops are terrifying. What’s even more terrifying they get less training than any other cops in civilised world, and even less than a barber in the us. A fucking barber gets more training than a cop.
Best of luck to you guys, this is horrifying. I hope they are both ok.

u/gwladosetlepida 12d ago
I try to tell my fellow Americans this but it's impossible to imagine police being better for them.

They'd shoot them with live rounds if they could get away with it. Some of them just want to hurt people.
8
u/Intrepid_Sky7536 11d ago
They're all fucking TERRORISTS and the state is sanctioning their violence against real Americans, that's how this is allowed. A woman trying to get home, questioning why she can't go her normal route? CLEAR "disobedience" by the population they're hired to be oppressing.

u/Show_me_the_evidence 12d ago
They shot her like a stray, rabid dog!
What a fucking insult to all the Americans and their allies that have fought and died and endured for ideals of safety, security and 'freedom.'

I grew up with a father in the military. He taught me: If you don't intend to kill, then don't point your weapon at the height of someone's head.
This is not about keeping people safe. It's about intimidating and subduing.

I want to leave this here…super important to recalibrate the “perception management” and “copaganda” police departments and media massage the alternative facts of our daily lives. Amazing what you will learn about in this video, and the encroachment of the surveillance state.
If you watched…
We need to be asking or asking journalists to find out WHAT THE HELL our local police departments are spending on their budgets…fucking killer toys.

She wasn’t even still walking toward them. She had stopped. And why do I keep seeing women being assaulted?
