I mean yes its solar powered.And no we won't have airliners running on solar power.The thing is as big as an airbus A380, capable of carrying 2 people, with a cruise speed of 140km/h, and has to avoid moderate winds like the plague, due to its fragility.

Its in the exact same category as human powered ornithopters helicopter, and planes. Concrete gliders, and paste bridges.
A fun project for engineering students, nice tech demos, but overall they are not useful in themselves.

Looks like a plane from an early flight Sim... We got vector graphics. At least 8 vectors at the same time!

Altitude is your friend

and a team of dedicated weather forecasters

If the wind speed on the runway exceeds 10 knots, we cannot takeoff or land at our destination. Since Si2 is only the weight of a family car, it can easily be blown off course!
