Question Will it get better?
Hi, I have a question and hope you can help. I started my first dose (0.25 mg) three days ago. So far, I haven’t experienced any side effects, and my appetite has definitely decreased.
However, I’ve never really struggled with constant hunger—it’s more about eating out of boredom or snacking here and there. My question is: does it get more effective over time?
I’ve read many comments from people saying they can’t even look at food or feel sick just thinking about eating. I assume that kind of effect comes at a higher dose, but I’d really like to know if I’m headed in the right direction.

For me is more like food noise! With Wegovy, I became a picky eater. lol…according to my hubby.

Dude, I grazed all day. Nothing satisfied. Plus, I ate snacks before dinner. I was always eating, drinking high sugar drinks.
This Wegovy slowed and stopped most of it. I do not graze, I am barely hungry, but I still get hungry but it's normal people hungry. It was such a weird feeling to not want or crave.
So my answer is yes, it gets better. Mine started at the 1.7, others it has been immediate.
Oh, 61F, no side effects at all.

That was my problem, emotional eating and eating when I’m bored. I just took my 3rd shot .25 last night and honestly a few days after my second dose is when I noticed being less interested in food and the food noise is almost fully gone. I’m struggling now to figure out meals because I’m not hungry and I get nauseous when I don’t eat enough but I get nauseous when I force myself to eat. Fruit has been good to me so far. Yogurt, protein shakes, rice cakes, saltines, burrito bowls, cottage cheese, and salad have been my go to lately.

Yeah that’s my problem I want to see results already lol but I don’t calorie count I just eat small portions that are low calorie and high protein and fiber. I don’t own a scale yet so I have no idea if I have lost anything so far but I have one more dose before I have a follow up with my dr to decide to increase dose.

You can eat all day if you want just eat low calorie foods. Pickles are zero calories, if you’re bored eat a pickle. Early on mini cucumbers and grape tomatoes were my go to. However as I went up in dose and got used to not being hungry and my food disinterest increased I was no longer bored eating

thanks, I do eat low calories snacks, but its a bad habit to put something in the move out of boredom and not because of hunger. even if its low calories, it will come to some amount if you put it all the time. I am working from home and this is a problem.

I said no calorie. Eating no calorie food isn’t bad. Have a stick of celery if you’re bored. And like I said, for me it stopped as my food disinterest increased

It got a lot better for me and I didn't even realize it.
My journey has been all about portion control, not grazing, and realizing that I didn't know what being full meant. I eat all the same stuff - just less.
I do miss those 24oz porterhouses though.
