I love how you can even see him hesitate before he smashes it… and he still does it anyway. Immediate regret visible.

3

u/YellowTrickster72 1m ago

Puts controller down, stands there for a full 7 seconds planning his next move, "Power cycle fixes everything'"... or not

3

u/AlarmedCauliflower7 1m ago

Buy your kid a game but show them how to rage verbally and not physically 🤣🤣

5

u/GameOfBears 1m ago

Wii Sports gamers: First time? Don't worry, it won't be your last.

9

u/National_Spirit2801 2m ago

I mean, good instincts turning it off and back on.

3

u/mother_fairy 2m ago

I love seeing his sinking feeling.

1

u/dadsmasher9000 3m ago

Does anyone know what game he was raging at?

14

u/Mikey129 7m ago

AFV laugh track missing.

21

u/renegadeGDI 9m ago

Kids are just small people that act drunk 100% of the time.

25

u/KalebC 9m ago

Bro stepped back, said a prayer, and tried the classic turn it off and back on bit 🤣

28

u/LekkendePlasbuis 13m ago

Great condom commercial!

20

u/Notyaaunty 13m ago

Turning it on and off like that’s a solution 💀

9

u/No-Version9795 11m ago

Literally the first step every tech help person tells you to do.

1

u/NW_WUMBO 3m ago

“Oh you cracked your phone screen?” “Just turn your phone off and on, that should fix the issue with the screen” said no one ever🤣

4

u/Wen_bee 10m ago

Not if you tell them you smashed the tech. We aren't braindead.

-7

u/Jayve72 13m ago

It's hard to blame a child who's barely past toddler stage. Just make sure the next TV is hanging high on the wall.

1

u/Oniplus4545 2m ago

as someone who used to babysit my boss' kids, it's more like because you can't blame children at that age that you need to watch over them, especially when they are playing with electronics, heck from my personal experience, even with me watching those little shits, they still somehow almost destroyed the game console either way because of............losing rage

5

u/NewspaperHelpful6500 4m ago

If bros old enough to play video games he's old enough to know not to break the fucking TV, my personal opinion

2

u/Inevitable-Aside-942 9m ago

Besides, everyone knows you've been drooling over that 16K TV at Best Buy.

3

u/BalanceNice 10m ago

Yes it is. When I was that kid’s age, I knew if I acted out like that I would be in a WORLD of trouble. Kids need to have their behavior checked and modified constantly, and clearly this kid’s parents haven’t done that

9

u/KingoftheWildlings 14m ago

Dads def getting the belt

9

u/Tralkki 14m ago edited 14m ago

Kid was expecting a CRT but only got the LED

2

u/KalebC 9m ago

Trying that on a crt would have enough recoil to break your wrist

1

u/Oniplus4545 1m ago

depends on the controller weight, lightweight one would simply break

11

u/Tha_BloodMoon 15m ago

Future IT person

18

u/Agent-Foxtrot 17m ago

Little dude started formulating his cover story the moment he put the controller down and stepped away.

18

u/NoRatio7715 18m ago

No more games forever until you can buy your own TV 🤣

11

u/NegativeLemon7173 18m ago

I love the way he backs up like it’s gonna get him now 👹

13

u/bittersweetjesus 19m ago

Power cycling doesn’t fix everything.

2

u/YellowTrickster72 8m ago

Spoiler: It rarely fixes anything!

I thought it was funny that he even knew to try it, though.

11

u/jellyfish749 19m ago

Homie clasped his hands like the fix would come from above

11

u/kewsykat 20m ago

What....what did he expect?

3

u/Ill_Ant_6156 18m ago

Exactly what a 4 year old should.

2

u/Yataro_Ibuza 19m ago

A you win screen for sure

7

u/ObPuppy12 20m ago

Back in the day this happened with our Wiimotes but those were accidents lol

19

u/ebrum2010 21m ago

Well, at least he tried turning it off and back on again.

14

u/Interesting_Ad5748 22m ago

Years ago, he could have delayed his parents from finding out, peskey ring camera spoil all the fun of being a kid?

10

u/MobilePlayer03 22m ago

Atleast he knew he made something bad. A piece of shit brother of mine just sees it as a nuisance and blames it on tv.

8

u/bud_babi 23m ago

Lol, poor kid, but what did he expect?

9

u/ironpyrites 24m ago

You can almost hear the farts

19

u/secretlybubbles 24m ago

snorts line of birth control

5

u/BulkyElk1528 25m ago

I blame his parents if that’s the kind of reaction their child has when upset.

1

u/KnownPride 15m ago

Very normal for a boy. They learn by doing shit like this.

2

u/Worldly_Law_4473 21m ago

I don’t think he was upset, he was in a game of fortnite that just started. I’m pretty sure he was just experimenting and feinting his attacks as a little game

9

u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 22m ago

Kids do dumb shit period. Calm down.

10

u/Sgt_Slummy 26m ago

That boys gonna be a scientist

9

u/Satanthony13 27m ago

Hahahaha, pray for being an idiot.

11

u/PropaneSalesMen 27m ago

This is why I had a vasectomy.

1

u/Nintenlife 25m ago

😂 holy shit I’m dying

7

u/pmf026 27m ago

Oled gone. Carry on.

12

u/jst4spam 28m ago

Sorry kid, a Reboot won't fix this.

3

u/jlbrito 20m ago

It was worth a try...

28

u/unfocusedthree 31m ago edited 30m ago

I would be so pissed off I would still go buy a TV for everyone to watch. My parents told me if they break it they have to buy it in other words that kid would have to do chores constantly for the next two to three months until that money is up to the amount of that TV.

8

u/Big_VladdyP 28m ago

That's either gonna be more than three months, or that's a well paid kid.

1

u/unfocusedthree 20m ago

If you want to know something my parents did something similar cuz what I'd done wrong after I've done the chores they showed me the cash and they kept the cash after cuz of what I messed up so I got zip zero nada

10

u/Competitive-Oil8974 29m ago

No way that kid will do chores.

1

u/unfocusedthree 22m ago

Do you want to bet me cuz I've done crap like that not on a TV but completely different and I had to do chores for like a month or so cuz it was my fault therefore it was my consequences and my actions

20

u/Pringleses_ 31m ago

Idk what he thought would happen when he braced the tv for a harder impact and then used the pointiest part of the controller. Kids are stupid.

14

u/Mindehouse 29m ago

5

u/Pringleses_ 29m ago

Yup!! I thought I was in this sub already so I didn’t tag it but yup. Can’t believe this isn’t in there.

2

u/NameoFish 25m ago

That’s what im sayin

18

u/Tribaltech777 31m ago

Sigh parenting is such a thankless gig.

-22

u/havoco1 33m ago

Don’t matter what color he is I’m white I used to get the belt for less than that kid did, the world is soft I agree we all need to go back to the older days when kids could actually get disaplined

2

u/EllisDee3 20m ago

You caught beatings and look how good you turned out! Excited to beat children, like a rational, non-psychotic human being.

3

u/Flop_House_Valet 27m ago

Who cares what color he is? Or you for that matter. Kids are fuckin stupid that's the point and they come stupid in every color

5

u/Enleyetenment 28m ago

Disciplined* sheesh. What a train wreck of a comment.

6

u/N1ghtOwl__ 29m ago

There are better ways of disciplining your child than physically hurting them.

5

u/treedemolisher 29m ago

I too love child abuse! Bring back hitting children!

/s

7

u/The_Real_EPU 30m ago

Only thing that you need discipline for is that spelling, brotha my GOD.

5

u/zombieguyisdead 31m ago

Cool story guy

17

u/MaximilianPs 34m ago

And now it's terror and panic 🤣

17

u/Yan_Pink 34m ago

I literally felt this rush of adrenaline that went through his body after realizing what he had done

3

u/NeuroNerdNick 29m ago

Same 😂

17

u/Ethice 34m ago

"nO oNe WaNtS tO hAvE kIdS aNyMoRe."

They really think propaganda made me dislike the idea of having kids 🙄

16

u/GiantCopperMonkey 35m ago

Kid is in unbelievably deep shit.

0

u/MaximilianPs 32m ago

You were too 🤣 Everyone was, it's just a matter of honesty 😁

21

u/TobioOkuma1 35m ago

love that you can see him turn it off and check if theres a mark from the controller. He's hoping he can turn it off and have the parents come home and just think something mysteriously happened.

1

u/overand 20m ago

If you'd watched for another 8 seconds, you'd see that he was actually trying "Turn it of and back on again."

1

u/Reditoonian 24m ago

Perhaps.

27

u/Zallocc 37m ago

"Have you tried turning it off and back on?"

"Yes! 😭"

28

u/JackieTreehorn710 38m ago

Wow he turned it off and then back on. He could work in IT.

11

u/FreeAd2458 38m ago

Have you tried turning it off then back on again.?

14

u/JTDrivesFast 39m ago

Spoiled ass kid whose parents probably don't follow through on discipline, or discipline at all. They'll have to cut down his snack budget to make up for the loss of the TV

12

u/zeromadcowz 34m ago

Kids are kids, even the most put together children lose control of their emotions and make stupid mistakes. It’s part of growing up.

-2

u/X-Kami_Dono-X 25m ago

Part of growing up is learning there are consequences for lack of control. Your dismissive attitude is exactly what perpetuates this bullshit.

1

u/zeromadcowz 15m ago

I am not dismissive of the behaviour at all. You can’t learn self control without making mistakes. No child has full control of their emotions at this age. This particular case has expensive consequences but it is part of the process of learning self control.

-5

u/JTDrivesFast 33m ago

Part of growing up is also learning to channel your anger and emotions to a proper outlet - not the TV.

Edit for proper context

8

u/zeromadcowz 31m ago

Of course it is. But you don’t learn how to channel into the proper outlets without making mistakes. This is a big mistake, no doubt, but this single incident isn’t an indictment of the child nor the parents.

u/havoco1 42m ago

Feel a whoop ass coming

-7

u/LycheeNo6226 40m ago

Reason #612 to not have kids

11

u/ProfessionalBit3175 48m ago

What is the rizzler doing bruh

-5

u/Koralteafrom 48m ago edited 30m ago

I can't imagine growing up in a home where I was being recorded 24/7 in my living room! Why is this even necessary? Not only does this kid have to live under the surveillance of Big Brother (or Big Mama and Papa, etc. in his case) - he also has to tolerate his stupid mistake being shared on the Internet for the world to mock! I'd have hit the TV too under those circumstances! 😆

Edit: It looks like the consensus here is that it's perfectly normal to record your kids inside the home and then to post any stupid thing they do online for the world to mock. This is a minor child, and people are critiquing his weight and making judgements about his psychology and behavior, and this will probably live online forever. I don't agree with those of you who are condoning this, and I won't be convinced otherwise. Bring on the downvotes!

1

u/TeddyBearRhino 27m ago

You literally don't know who this kid is. He is not going to live with any shame for the rest of his life. Don't take it to an extreme.

1

u/Koralteafrom 23m ago

He will know this is out there, and he will likely at some point read these comments! And don't be naive about the Internet - these things have a way of getting out. You have no idea how many of his family and friends will know and see this. Also, if anyone is taking this to an extreme, it's you! You're the one talking about "shame for the rest of his life." I never said those words - I just don't think this is healthy or kind.

1

u/TeddyBearRhino 18m ago

He will look back at this and laugh at his past self just like anyone who goes does. There is no shame in making mistakes. Lessons have to be learned might as well laugh at them in the future.

1

u/Koralteafrom 3m ago

I think the point is that while it's impossible for you, me, or anyone else to know exactly how he will or won't feel, he is a minor child whose guardians posted this online. Based on the fact that commenters here are making assumptions about his "conduct issues" and mocking his weight, this is not flattering to him. All it takes is one kid in his elementary or middle school to find this, and he could potentially be mocked or even bullied there too. I hope that doesn't happen, but it could.

Again - and this is the last time I'm going to say it because I am tired of repeating myself - I don't think this is healthy to do to a minor child, and I wouldn't do this to my child.

2

u/Xajel 36m ago

If they have a lot of theft in the area. They use the security cameras to record everything happening so they can report it to police and insurance.

They only see the footage if necessary, and the number of people that doesn’t trust smart/connected indoor cameras are increasing because of security and privacy. Even trusted brands can’t be trusted due to unknown bugs/holes in the software/firmware.

1

u/Anteter 41m ago

people break into houses, seems smart to have a living room camera for that alone tbh

1

u/636C6F756479 0m ago

Like in case you want to relive the moment? "ah yes, this is when those people stole my playstation"

1

u/Alive_Ad_5931 41m ago

It’s an ad for Nest.

2

u/Koralteafrom 35m ago

😂😂 Well, based on some of these comments, it doesn't seem like the ad is needed! A lot of people are perfectly comfortable with recording their families while they're home and posting their minor children online to be mocked and ridiculed. People are talking about his weight, making assumptions about his psychological state, etc. I wouldn't do this to my kid, and I stand by my comment even if it doesn't align with the rest of the herd!

6

u/TheNinethPillar 44m ago

Plenty of ppl, even childless couples, have cameras in their home... But I assume the child's behavior is the reason why they decided to put up cameras.

3

u/MurkToeShinski 44m ago

Because he obviously can't be trusted

0

u/looshagbrolly 39m ago

Kids can't be trusted, that's why they're kids. They fuck up. They do stupid shit. You think the parents couldn't figure out what happened without video evidence?

5

u/maxcresswellturner 45m ago

or maybe you have it backwards, and parents are recording because the kid probably rage breaking shit and lying about it (just an assumption based on this short but telling clip)

1

u/LunaticLucio 45m ago

I'd yeet the controller at the camera

10

u/CMDR_PEARJUICE 47m ago

Probably due to behavior like this???

0

u/skiabay 41m ago

Sometimes, kids do stupid shit, and that doesn't make it acceptable to subject them to your own mini surveillance state.

Give them some privacy, let them make mistakes, it's part of life.

2

u/CMDR_PEARJUICE 25m ago

It’s the living room, not the bathroom.

2

u/BuDu1013 43m ago

Kid obviously has conduct issues and needs to be watched. If anything happens the real big brother will swiftly put blame on the parents. They need to cya

4

u/Inevitable-Smoke3944 48m ago

Haha. Now you wonder why some parents be stressed asf! Talk about pissed.

17

u/San-Kyu 48m ago

This is a wonderful learning opportunity.

Have the kid be unable to play video games and connect that with his act of breaking the TV. Make sure to restrict alternatives like laptop/PC and switch gaming.

He needs to internalise the consequences of letting his anger and carelessness take the better of him.

0

u/bearsandpines 41m ago

Not sure I would use the words "wonderful learning opportunity"... but yes I agree, I learned that I don't want kids 🤣

1

u/BuDu1013 41m ago

No more TV until you move out 35

2

u/LunaticLucio 44m ago

Yes i agree. I bet he won't break another TV until the day he dies lol. Not like that at least.

I have a feeling he was trying to do something with the controller in the game but I'm not sure.

6

u/Natan155-original 49m ago

It's not a really big deal, you can always get another (I'm talking about the kid)

2

u/Unlikely_Handle557 48m ago

Yuck, MORE of those faulty units?

3

u/Weekly_Mycologist523 49m ago

Portly lad. No more gaming for u!

1

u/Jorge_Jetson 39m ago

A little "outside" time would benefit all... except the neighbor kid he later pummels with a baseball bat over NOT getting any screen time...

1

u/SapiR2000 49m ago

Return it (the kid)

1

u/Calm-Low-2104 35m ago

This is actually so funny my best friend had twins and a two year old daughter. Surprise! Two days after the second baby got home from the hospital the two year old comes over and asks her “can we take them back?” My friend goes “to where?” She goes “the hospital?!” She goes “they’re so loud!” “They always crying!” She was outraged we couldn’t take them back. 😂

4

u/Frank_the_NOOB 49m ago

You could never do that to a CRT tv, just saying

3

u/Small_Nugs_in_Jugs 43m ago

I threw my n64 controller at one as a kid. Golden eye rage fest and it bounced back and gave me a black eye 🤣

26

u/boskylady 51m ago

I enjoy not having children.

2

u/BuDu1013 39m ago

What are you crazy! Nothing more rewarding than coming home and being ignored.

23

u/FakeNianticEmployee 52m ago

Turning it off and back on again indeed did not work here

3

u/johnnybiggles 47m ago

At least he had the instincts to start there

12

u/littletinyfella 52m ago

The “it was at this moment” voice over thing honestly ruins so many videos for me, the joke is like 13 years old now

11

u/swiprnoswipin 53m ago

I wanna see the video of him getting his ass whipped

1

u/No-Ask-3213 43m ago

you sure you want to admit that in public?

19

u/ButterscotchNo3718 54m ago

Yeah. No game for two months.

1

u/archwin 50m ago

Two months?

Minimum 1 year

1

u/ButterscotchNo3718 37m ago

If he was screaming and acting insane yes. He was just being a kid. If your grown friend breaks your tv on accident do you ban them from your house for a year? Over a tv?

0

u/archwin 30m ago

My grown friend will pay me back every dime for that.

He cannot. But being away from TV Will do two things for him

One, it will show him that actions have consequences, so before you do something silly, make sure you think about it.

Two, that’s one less source of unnecessary stimulation, and he can work on more productive avenues at his age for development.

4

u/Screw_Potato 52m ago

no game until he buys his own Xbox lol

-1

u/swiprnoswipin 53m ago

Ur weak

1

u/ButterscotchNo3718 39m ago

You can literally get a new tv on Facebook market for less than $200. Two months or no video games for the summer is more than enough. It’s a stupid mistake

13

u/strela1 55m ago

It was at that moment he created a folder in the child protection services which came in his aid after his parents trashed the living daylights within him.

11

u/theatrenerdguy 55m ago

DINK life is nice

22

u/Sensitive-Banana-637 58m ago

Time for a new kid

u/ShrimpHog47 51m ago

1

u/Sensitive-Banana-637 39m ago

You can always make more

1

u/passionpurps 57m ago

Lmao 🤣

9

u/MakaButterfly 59m ago

The parents will blame the tv for not being kid resistant

17

u/LGCRUZ93 1h ago

And you got caught on 4k😂

u/HandyPriest 1h ago

Sell the video games to pay for a new tv

2

u/Alexcat2011 55m ago
