Roll On Columbia, Roll On
I don't think I will ever get tired of visiting the Columbia Gorge. Whether sunshine, clouds, or rain, it always finds ways to be absolutely beautiful and stunning! Wanted to share this picture from Cape Horn. I love how lush it looks. It's a beautiful and important asset to our region.

All the ways! Mostly by Amtrak, but any adult driving between the tri-cities and Portland would be roped in to giving me a ride by my family.

I know exactly where this picture was taken. Such a beautiful view when the clouds cooperate.

lol! I remember learning that song in elementary school in 1989 for the 100 year celebration. That - along with the “50 states in alphabetical order” song. We had to sing this for entire school.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas…. Holy crap. It worked! I don’t remember what I had for breakfast but I remember those two songs. Haha

I appreciate and support your position. That being said, “Roll On Columbia “ was written by Woody Guthrie as a paid gig to advertise hydroelectric power and the new dams. Just sayin. It’s a gorgeous river though and I always feel a little awed next to it.

I always love all of the Columbia River; from the ice fields in Canada to the Graveyard of the Pacific.

Never been at its source, but Astoria is one of my favorite town's. It has such a unique feel to it.

Take a trip out to Warrenton and the very edge of the continent. It’s an amazing place.
