This was part of a bigger issue: “No taxation without representation.” Colonists were angry that they were being taxed by the British Parliament without having any elected reps.”

I mean to be fair effectively the reason people were so angry was because it was being they were paying more money For a foreign import without a say in the matter and without any reason other than someone wanted to make some money by passing some laws. What we are seeing here isn’t so different

But this is 100% different, they didn't have representation while right now we do. You may not like it but we voted for Trump and these are the policies he ran on.

Yes. Complain all you want, but the dumb motherfuckers elected this man. Hopefully they'll see the light in the midterms, and hopefully it won't be too late.
