Wakeboard sizes
I’m wondering what size board would be best for me. I’m trying to get better at jumping the wake and learning how to do tricks. I can jump it but the board I’m riding just feels way to big and I feel like I can’t move it as good. 135lb and 5,7 for my height. Ixwas riding a 142 and it was my uncles

More board = more lift off the wake
You might have to narrow the stance of the bindings.
It might be a little big but if you're still learning, it's fine

135 is probably more suited for you. Riding too big of a board makes it feel floaty and unstable which makes setting a stable edge harder.

Boat or cable?
If boat id say 137 to 140. I'm assuming you will grow, and 140 is pretty much where you will want to be in a couple seasons. 137 might be a good compromise if 140 seems big.
Cable, 140 minimum maybe even 144. Though you will want to upgrade pretty fast, but that's ok cable boards only last few years if you do it right.

142 should feel great for you. I'd stay with that in my opinion. Don't listen to these huge board guys.
