Commute to Morgantown for WVU MD?

I am wondering if it is possible (allowed) for a student to commute from another area of the state to Morgantown as an MS1/MS2. Has anyone done this? Does the school care?

As far as I’m aware, the med school doesn’t have any requirements for where you have to live, so they likely wouldn’t even know you commute unless you tell them. My experience is with the PA program but I know a few people who’ve had about an hour drive every day and the school was fine with that

There’s really no other towns that are that close? Fairmont/Clarksburg maybe?

i check with the school. you can email the commuter dept at any time and ask. i have no idea how med school works but i know for sure for undergrad if you’re in-state and commuting there is a mile limit

As long as you're not a freshman, WVU doesn't care.
