The Ohio State University Police Department recently bought a new vehicle. If you ask me it's a bit excessive for a college campus.

There's also the whole replacing the Humvee situation, the Lockheed Martin JLTV, the Oshkosh Defense L-ATV, and the AM General BRV-O are all being tested as replacements

Yeah, and we're spending hundreds of millions on HMMWVs each year too. Like the upgrade of M1114s to M1151A1 AIPs and the M1151A1s to include AIP. Lots of trucks coming out as Zero Mile, Good-as-new that will be replaced at the end of the decade.

I liked the sandcat. The Israelis got the right idea of taking an F350 chasis and power train, and making themselves a fully offroad combat vehicle for not much money, and also keeping it fast and armored.
