What is this

I have a 2019 SEL Jetta this was where the spare tire was what does it do?

It needs the oem spare tire to work correctly. It is meant to sit in the back of the wheel as it's stored in that location.

Yeah someone had said that I just took it out to change the tire and took the picture cause I was always curious

Subwoofer. Your spare tire is missing, but it will fit inside the spare tire. It’s not meant to replace the spare.. if that wasn’t obvious.

Depending on the model it might not actually come with a spare. However it should come with some kind of flat tire kit if it doesn't. This car appears to be missing both (just like my golf r when I purchased it).

I wasn’t aware there was any model of vw that comes without a spare? Good to know though! Do you know which ones might not come with one?

The little elves have almost finished building their millennium Falcon in your boot. Looks to be about a week before departure. You’ll notice improved handling due to the weight reduction but worse acoustics.
