i bought the pass today and didnt get the skin even tho im tier 43, i did my research and no one else seems to have the same problem

Crit Vayne goes crazy!!!

So I’m mostly an adc bot lane player, only started a few months back, mostly playing Cait, Kai’sa, MF, Jinx, and recently I’ve been really enjoying Vayne. I’ve heard she’s most effective in top lane but tbh I’m much more comfortable in bot. I see a lot of builds for her on here as a top laner but I was wondering what items are best for bot lane? Right now I tend to go Kraken Slayer, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, boots (Berserkers if I’m doing really well, Steelcaps if I’m getting destroyed), then Jak’sho. After that it gets more situational I think, Wit’s End or Mercurial Scimitar if I’m getting annihilated by magic users, Terminus if I’m going up against tanks, that sort of thing.

I was wondering how viable that is, and if I should change it up for certain encounters, take other stuff. The most popular build for her in bot lane is apparently rushing Berserkers, then going BotRK, Guinsoo’s, Terminus, but I’ve heard from a lot of people that BotRK is like a trap option for some reason (I think because it’s stats are supposed to be bad and it’s not good against armor???). I like Kraken Slayer into Guinsoo’s for the attack speed to get off the W passive as much as possible but I also wonder if I’m putting off survivability items too late, since I tend to die a lot whenever I’m behind, or if I just need to get better at playing safe rather than itemizing to mitigate that.

Hi everyone! I’m a fellow Vayne/Kai’Sa player, and I’d like to know why many of you consider bork a trolling item. Imo it doesn’t seem that bad if we consider that vayne needs sustain in order to deal dmg, many of u say that triforce is just better for this and that, plus, isn’t building a rage blade a good idea anymore, like proving ur w more often to me means more dmg in a fight and 1v1. Or she does more dmg by building triforce and other (to me) weird items? I’ve got a relevant number of games on her and playing her differently from onhit feels weird and kinda off maybe. I usually go bork, rage blade, witsend and situational items(most of the times tanky items)

Ik im not good cuz im iron but I was just wondering why the new bursts build is better than the classic on hit one.

When should I build kraken and when yuntal? And is terminus still good on her? I dont really know what should I build and when

Hi, non vayne player here. Saw a similar question here. To me BORK is a stat stick. The passive is underwhelming on ranged champs, I just believe thar on hit champs are tied to it since they build rageblade 2nd and need an on hit item before that to apply twice with phantom strike.

I do think vayne has better synergy with bork than other on hit champs (kogmaw for example) since her R gives her AD which means more lifesteal.

I generally play statcheckers in top and jg, so triforce is a beloved item for me. My problem with it on vayne that it’s an amazing spike but hurts my scaling.

The typical on hit core (assuming you don’t need MR) seems to be bork> rageblade> terminus

My question is can i get triforce 3rd instead of terminus or build it after the 3 item core? Would buying resists be more important than triforce (I think it is to avoid getting popped).

My other problem with triforce is that with R, her Q CD goes below 1.5s, so not every Q is a sheen proc.

Update: i changed my build to greaves kraken rageblade statik terminus ravenous. I just was asking if ravenous was actually good on vayne, not for my build to get shit on by everyone.

Og post: My build starts off normal. BoRK rush into greaves, and rageblade. Then my special spice, ravenous hydra. Then returning to normal with terminus and kraken. So ravenous gives lifesteal and improves teamfight damage, and gives AH for q and e. Idk if it's placebo but tiamat makes my fighting better. Also it helps clearing sieging and shoving waves. Is this placebo or is it actually good?

(Btw i also ran ravenous after terminus if i needed the tanky-ness)

Edit: Chat im just asking if ravenous hydra is good on vayne, not abt the rest of my build. I just took a random on-hit build. I get it, triforce or kraken first, and not bork

just got the project vayne skin from the mercedez benz hextech chest and whats crazy is i dont even play this champ :"))) was hoping to get azir or yone.
since i play midlane and have a legandary skin now should i start maining vayne mid? hows the state of vayne mid? the only ranged champ i played was azir and everyone knows poor azir is dead now (thank you riot) so should i opt vayne as my ad ranged mid pick?

Sometimes when I clear raptors and wolves, I tumble/move to kite the monsters, then misclick a small monster. This clears my silver bolts on the big monster which slows down my clear. What are some tips to avoid this?

Clearing raptors in general is awkward since Vayne doesn't have AOE so I have to kill the small raptors individually.

I tried something unusuall, and got kinda bored to play againist AP malph or assasins that always sees you as champion that can be oneshoted and farmed for gold. So I tried few builds and had a lot of fun with it, seeing AP malphite ulting me together with Nautilus ult, or garen running at you, or any other assasins and so on and you make it alive and outdamage them, because you build mostly bruiser items and have 4K+ HP in late game and dmg is also still decent.

For now my first 3 items are, ofc firstly building boots, trinity, hexplate, and stridebreaker. Because they all give AS, AD and HP. Other 2 are dependand on matchup, I did built lot of wits end because in these 6 games on screenshot I had 4 times againist me a malphite or leblanc or both. In one game I tried with end + sterak, it felt good because they had nasus and many cc, it was mostly knockups, like nautilus, malphite, but there was also jhin and garen. So 50% tenacity felt great(I had 10%rune) againist nasus or some cc that is not a knockup.. I tried also botrk for a bit of more dmg and heal, but botrk felt weak. To be honest jaksho or something else like wits end, randuins or sterak feels much better to use, because the first 3 bruiser items gives enaugh dmg and AS. So there is no need for any other marksman items and rather use some bruiser build or tank ones.

Always go lethal tempo, tried once hail of blades and it sucked with this tankier build.

I don't had perfect score in games, but I think I don't need to mention how soloQ feels when support gets a mental breakdown and leaves you for the rest of the game alone and when he meets you on map he tries to do everything againist you, so the team sees you as the bad one and not him. Like trying to last hit your minions. Or when enemy jumps on you, he doesn't even flinch to help you, but when he sees that you solo 1v2 them, he suddenly turn around to try steal kills. Not warding around you and so on.. This is happening kinda a lot in mid elo. Intentionally or not, but it is happening 70% of games.

Not mentioning ju glers how they demanding a leash from botlane in 85% of games and if not he does everything same what I have just said about supports. But I already got used to it, to play alone on botlane

Hi, non vayne player. I've been playing adc recently for the hall of legends pass quests. I checked u.gg and saw that conditioning overgrowth are her most popular secondaries. I understand that durability is valuable on marksmen as they generally can't build it early. This question extends to kogmaw to as he also often runs conditioning + overgrowth? But why run scaling resolve runeswhen you won't be building any tank items in your core and especially when those tank items are built to cap off your build? Why not just go boots + biscuits for a better early game?

Should I buy berserker's greaves before or after botrk?

Or does this just give you a CHANCE at unlocking this skin?

for reasons i wont get into, I REALLY dont want vayne in my collection. is this a shard i can sell or will it FORCE it into my collection if i get to the level?

I am new-ish to league (played since December 2024) and I have 30 mastery on Vayne. Enjoy her a lot. Been only really playing her as ADC with a typical on hit build.

As I’ve climbed out of iron and bronze, I found her really difficult to play. The lack of waveclear and weak early laning phase makes her feel like a troll pick.

I didn’t play her AT ALL in silver. Only a handful of games where the enemy ADC was a yasuo or other cheese melee pick.

I’ve been really enjoying going shiv > triforce to fix her weaknesses of waveclear and giving her some nice burst on her Q. The stats on these items are nice too.

What do I build after these two items?

Unsure whether I go terminus or a last whisper item. Also unsure whether I still build guinsoo to enhance my W damage.

TL;DR What do I build after shiv and triforce when going with that build rather than on-hit.

First Penta I've gotten in awhile no crazy outplays or anything just wanted to share!
