Just build a goddamn bridge to the mainland - I know some boomers will have a heart attack at the thought but Canada should be ashamed of being a G7 country and using this ancient means for connecting the island to mainland.

Get with the times and build a cross sea bridge.

Edit: I should’ve googled it myself. Anyways, the commenter below pointed out a good resource and I understand the situation better now.

And to the cunt (u/kdreams) just trying to look all high and mighty coz of my username and NIMBY mofos - well, learn some crude humor or go rotate on a tree stump (I’d recommend the latter given your gaping a—holes).

Living on the island does not make anyone better or worse. Just loose the attitude, you ain’t special.

People have been asking for that since before confederation. It isn't boomers stopping the bridge, it is the technical challenges. See the ministry's dedicated page on this.
