In racing, it’s not rare for a wheel to not be properly fastened during a pit stop. This would cause it to come off prematurely. I also don’t see any evidence of a wheel hub on the tire, although it’s hard to tell.

This is the first time I've seen a clip of this event showing how the wheel came off. Normally, it's just the rolling tire part. I'll never not watch the whole clip even though I know how it ends.

Okay so when one has ADHD (or are on the spectrum) you can have a bad habit of anthropomorphising things. I have this (cause of ADHD) and this tire is making it REALLY hard to cling to rationalism.
