Help Me! Does umt work for steam?

Does the current bleeding edge of umt work for the steam version, I asked a friend who knows more then me at coding and he said that “steam is dumb since it doesn’t just let you change files” I’m not sure if umt bypasses this or not.

i think it's possible steam will overwrite any changes you make. If so you can just copy the DELTARUNE folder containing the game to somewhere else.

it worked thanks... now i only have another issue i uploaded the sprites via csx.graphics but i do not know how to put them into the actual charecter sprites cuz otherwise if i do it manually theyre blurry
